Radiantecon
I just acquired a brand new 22 R8, and upon receiving it, I saw that the passenger seat already had several creases and signs of wear. Now, I am seeing the driving seat gradually developing similar indications of use. What is the most effective approach to alleviate the exacerbation of these issues or maybe diminish the prominence of the existing ones? A snapshot has been included. tr4s
My vehicle's appearance is identical to the one shown, and it is a model from the year 2022.
Wordcar
Unavoidable. While it is possible to condition leather using your preferred product to minimise excessive creasing and fading and preserve its suppleness, it is important to note that these characteristics are inherent to the material itself. The term for it is 'patina'.
Grundysp
Indeed, I examined my reflection in the mirror earlier today and pondered over this matter. I appear to be developing 'patina'. At least that seems to be rather polished and refined...
TraumaLaugh
Identical to the text provided above. I recommend using Gliptone or Colorlock for leather care. Please note that I am unsure about the availability of Colorlock in the United States.

MutanX
I contend that contemporary automotive leather is always treated with a synthetic layer, rendering leather conditioners devoid of use. Regularly cleaning them is the most effective method to avoid fractures and other forms of damage, since the accumulation of dirt is the primary source of harm. Startle
I assume it’s a transparent urethane covering and it inhibits leather conditioner from going into the leather. It also reduces surface wear. Regrettably, there are few options available for addressing the wrinkles and cracks.

Radiantecon
I have only had passengers in that seat on four occasions and the vehicle was handed to me in a brand new condition. The vehicle must have been subjected to significant mistreatment by the dealership personnel.
HolyRoach
Upon recently viewing this discussion, I have noticed that I own analogous crease marks on my driver's seat, much like the original poster (OP). I see it as an inherent reality, uncertain of any potential actions one may take? I will maintain the cleanliness of the inside by regularly vacuuming and wiping it down. Radiantecon
No solution has been identified by me. I am still uncertain about which cleaning agent to use on the inside surfaces. I am apprehensive about leaving any markings, so I just wash them down with water.
Hypabl
Best idea is to purchase a decent quality conditioner and use at least every few months. Regularly moisturising the leather helps mitigate cracking, however eventual deterioration is sometimes unavoidable.
