  1. Absolutely from first enquiry through to delivery, everything happened pretty much as explained. If they keep operating like this, I imagine they'll build quite a strong reputation in the repossessed vehicle market.
  2. Evening all, the 3008 arrived this morning, the lorry driver called several times with updates and arrived exactly when he said he would. The Peugeot looks exactly like the pics and description no unexpected damage no warning lights. Massive thanks to everyone who replied in this thread because it genuinely helped me make the decision. My wife has already claimed it as her car!
  3. Hi everyone I've decided to proceed with the purchase, we'll keep all infromed
  4. I still struggle with the concept of buying a vehicle online even when companies have positive reviews. Maybe I'm just paranoid!
  5. That's useful to know did you have to send the entire payment before delivery?
  6. They told me their operations centre is in Belfast, not far from Geroge Best airport. Problem is I'm down near Plymouth, so travelling there would turn into a full weekend trip. One thing they mentioned was a 14 days inspection after delivery and a money back option if the vehicle isn't as described. They also said delivery normally takes between 7 and 10 days. Still feels a bit strange buying something this expensive remotely.
  7. Evening all, had something pop up on my social media feed earlier that caught my eye. It was a listing for a 2021 Peugeot 3008 GT, and the asking price was quite a bit below what I've been seeing elsewhere. I made an enquiry out of curiosity and ended up speaking with someone from Zolee Logistics, a company based in Belfast. The company appears to have a good online presence; however, I would prefer to receive feedback from real people rather than relying on reviews. Has anyone here used Zolee Logistics for transportation or acquired one of their repo vehicles? Regards!
  8. No, on idle it's completely silent from both sides; it only starts to cluck somewhat under load at low RPMs, about 1000-1500. Many people have suggested high pressure pumps, but I haven't been able to prove them wrong.
  9. Good day. This little clunk or bang came out of nowhere and was really bothersome. I've checked the oil filter for flakes, replaced the spark plugs with the correct torque, used new MB 5w40 oil, and used the borescope to ensure that the sleeves are OK. However, still nothing. It seems like the noise went away the day after the oil change, but it came back the next day. Not audible at idle, but detectable between 1000 and 1500 rpm when the engine warms up, and then practically goes away when the engine becomes hot. I ran the Xentry diagnostic last night and everything came back clear: no misfire, no errors, no stored codes, etc. The engine pulls nicely, but I'm afraid to push it to its limits because of this. I tried using a statoscope on my own, but the noises weren't suspicious—just like the ones I mentioned before—and the tapping wasn't happening while the heads were at rest. Where can I find out what I need to know before I waste money on guesswork and garage advice? I came across a discussion on a similar subject, but the tone changed abruptly, and it is unclear if anyone has resolved the issue. Best regards

You need a professional (not a do-it-yourselfer) to reset the footwell module. I hired precise garage, who sell on eBay; all you have to do is send them the FRM (forget the name).
  12. It may be either n52 or n53; therefore, it is advisable to proceed as indicated and verify using the VIN number.
  13. PS If you are acquainted with your engine builder, it is worthwhile to enquire if they are still employed at AMG and whether a meeting is possible. Occasionally, they successfully accomplish it, quite impressive.
  14. I recommend the AMG factory tour as well. For an AMG, providing the VIN number suffices for booking. All complimentary badges, including of a meal. It is uncertain whether individuals without an AMG can participate, however it may be worthwhile to enquire if you are interested. Even individuals who lack an interest in automobiles like it.
  15. This is peculiar. The instructions indicate that there are two components, with the section nearer to the seat being foldable.
  16. Intriguing. I have seen that the description for the link I shared indicates three items. I am uncertain about my feelings towards it; but, I believe I would need to see one to have a more informed perspective.
  17. Affirmative. I prefer not to remove a rubber tray to reach the storage underneath. Consequently, the OEM seems to be the optimal choice.
  18. Indeed. I am aware of that. 😃 I am enquiring about the OEM rubber cargo tray.

  20. Does anybody own this? It seems to include recesses or grooves that facilitate folding, so granting access to the under-storage trays.
  21. I concur. I possess two customised vehicles: a Jaguar XKR and a factory C4 Corvette, both equipped with stainless steel sports exhausts. However, my spouse has prohibited me from making similar modifications to the CL, as it would fundamentally alter the car's character, which I regard as inherently elegant.

    Key fob

The same occurrence occurred for me yesterday, immediately followed by the Alarm!
  23. Affirmative. The BMW two-year or 20,000-mile service interval is just a strategy to present maintenance expenses as reduced, which, in my view and that of many others, is detrimental to the engine.
