  1. The original poster did not mention anything, thus I took a cautious approach to increase my chances of success. I have been consistently engaged in this activity for an extended period of time.
  2. The battery seems to be completely discharged. on start the vehicle, just apply pressure on the brake pedal and turn the ignition key.
  3. They may just need time to stabilise; mine took several days to stabilise properly.
  4. Detach the headlight assembly. Apply wet and dry sandpaper with a grain range of 600 to 1200 to eliminate any discoloration. The abrasions and marks caused by the 1200 are inconsequential and will be filled with a coating substance. Purchase a 2K can of clear coat from Amazon, which offers durable UV protection and long-lasting performance. Cover the whole headlamp, leaving just the polycarbonate exposed. Apply 2 or 3 layers. The problem has been resolved for around the next decade.
  5. A few years ago, I acquired a Wahle stat for the C200 from Autodoc. Excellent product .... There are no issues... The pricing is also excellent. The one I removed was of same manufacture and kind.
  6. I own a 2004 SL 350, and there is an outdated telephone handset located within the centre console lid. There are three tactile buttons on the driver's side wall of this panel, with a size sufficient for finger(s) to push. They seem to lack any discernible purpose, although it is evident that they possess or had a specific function.
