Exclusive Range Rover available for purchase
WannaVulture replied to Samuraisaint's topic in General
‘extremely powerful’….. I am convinced. -
I will attempt this upon retrieving the car on Friday and inform you of the outcome. If it fails to function, I believe it may be time to exchange it. Thank you once more.

Thank you for the guidance, Engrol. I possess a copy of ISTA, but I am uncertain about its use; therefore, your guidance has been immensely beneficial.

My F25 has experienced battery depletion for over six months. It is presently at the garage for the third time to ascertain the cause of the issue. The initial alteration of the relay ceased the drain, resulting in a noticeable reduction in power consumption. I continue to have the issue of "increased battery usage when stationary," which occurs intermittently without a discernible pattern. The vehicle was returned to a highly regarded independent garage, which was unable to repeat the issue. It has since been referred to an auto electrician, who likewise cannot reproduce the fault. I am now considering the possibility that the automobile remains in an active state while at home, although I am uncertain as to why this occurs. Is there a possibility of Bluetooth interference affecting the system's connectivity or my home Wi-Fi? I possess two inexpensive Bluetooth battery monitors in close proximity on a camper; may these be the source of the issue? I am considering unconventional possibilities; however, what other factors could contribute to it at home? Thank you.

Owners of the P300e, would you endorse its purchase?
WannaVulture replied to FreexPatty's topic in General
Proceed with caution. The P300e performs well when operational; nonetheless, the HVHC (high voltage hybrid coolant) heater malfunction is a prevalent and costly defect. If you are determined to get one, acquire the latest model within your budget that has the most extensive manufacturer's warranty to address that particular issue. Absence of a guarantee is a significant financial risk. -
It seems to have entered "limp mode."? Are there any warning lights illuminated on the dashboard, and do you own a code reader?

I have charged my EV3 on AC several times without ever needing to release the bottom DC flap. Is your plug of an unusual shape?

Is this vehicle equipped with 4x4 or all-wheel drive capabilities? The roads in this area are wet and slick, causing the wheels to lock while attempting to start in first gear, resulting in the vehicle stalling. Extremely hazardous when attempting to merge into traffic on similarly slick conditions. Is this typical behaviour for a 330xi, or is there an issue? It does not occur in dry snow. Thank you for any assistance or feedback.

£28 for mine, however the price has already jumped.£700 is for a primary lithium battery, which is square in certain vehicles such as my F82 M4; the auxiliary battery is also lithium but is 6 cm square.

SOS is a telematics battery; it does not have the longevity of a conventional battery.

Replacement of dipped beam bulb for 2014 E-Class convertible
WannaVulture replied to WannaVulture's topic in General
It seems that LED lights were specified in the construction plans. It may be time for a new headlight. -
Greetings everyone, I want guidance in the appropriate path. The headlamp bulb on my 2014 E Class convertible has malfunctioned. I own a replacement bulb, but I am unable to access the original for removal. The main beam seems simple. Removing the lid seems to be somewhat complex.

The warranty has expired, thus that option is not viable. Thank you for confirming the unfavourable news. Where have the lights gone that we can replace? I will search eBay and attempt to replace the device myself; I refuse to pay the exorbitant rates suggested by the major vendor. Thank you

Greetings. I own a 2019 Evoque R Dynamic in the standard trim level. The rear passenger indicator has ceased functioning. I saw that there has been condensation in the light fixture for many months. This week, I visited the main dealer for a different problem. They said that for the indication, it is not a matter of changing a bulb, but rather the full light unit, which would incur a cost of £481. That seems to be irrational. Is this accurate? Is it not possible to simply replace the malfunctioning indicator? Thank you.

I believe PHEVs may be preferable as they possess a standard 12V system, in contrast to HEVs.

Merely opening the boot activates the lights. The likelihood is that it is a standard bulb. Carefully extract it, and you will observe

I appreciate the provided hyperlink. I was uncertain about the nature of Bigred, but it seems that I have purchased one of the remaining kits, with the expectation that it would be compatible. I would rather do the task of rebuilding my automobile myself, since I am used to performing most of the maintenance work on my vehicles. However, I am aware that there is a possibility of making mistakes and perhaps worsening the situation. I have examined this website that discusses a comparable reconstruction: http://bmw8.us/Brake Booster Rebuild.htm

Although not ideal, purchasing a used OEM part is a more cost-effective option compared to buying a new one when they were still being produced. Additionally, it is preferable than owning a low mileage 540 that cannot pass the MOT or be sold. I am apprehensive about scoring and damaging any internal components, thus I am inclined to use PastParts.

I will comply. They provided a rough estimate of about £200, which is more than the cost of a few seals/gaskets or a rebuild kit, but not too expensive.

The individual mentioned in the article explained the technique as follows: "To remove the bakelite bushing, a small hole is drilled near the rear end of the input shaft, allowing it to be pulled out using a wire hook." Detach the circlip and apply WD40. Additionally, there is a vertical pin located underneath one of the reservoir sockets that must be removed since it secures the pistons in place. Appears to be really overwhelming. It is exasperating to go through this process just to end up having to sell the 540.

I appreciate the provided hyperlink. I was uncertain about the nature of Bigred, but it seems that I have purchased one of the final kits, with the expectation that it would be compatible. I would rather undertake the task of reconstructing myself, while I am aware that there is a possibility of making mistakes in the process. Thank you for the recommendation! I contacted them and they expressed optimism for a rebuild. However, they emphasised that they would want the physical presence of the unit in order to provide a conclusive response.
