The knob of a W205 has been coloured by Percy Pig :)
Captiva replied to DolSquirrel's topic in General
That amused me 😆 A similar incident occurred at a workplace where I was employed in the early 1980s. One of the maintenance fitters, Bob, nicknamed "Bionic Bob" due to his remarkable ability to emerge unharmed from the chaos he caused, successfully manoeuvred a forklift with the mast raised through the narrow passage connecting the production area and warehouse. This resulted in significant damage to the doors, door frame, the beam above it, and some brickwork above that. An additional fortunate aspect was that a portion of the wreckage that descended nearly avoided the Managing Director who was doing his morning inspection in the warehouse. -

Does the W204 C350 CDI Sport Auto have electronic suspension?
Captiva replied to HeadlinesQuick's topic in General
The Airmatic suspension system has the ability to modify the height of the vehicle's ride. Certain automobiles were equipped with electronic dampers that have the ability to adjust the firmness of the ride, without affecting the height of the vehicle. -
Alternatively, you may get a suitable thickness of adhesive double-sided foam and apply it underneath the middle of the insignia to further enhance its stability. Undesirable are 50,000 miles of unstable movement, causing damage to the paint and resulting in a corroded bonnet that requires repairs. Given your knowledge of your obsessive-compulsive disorder, Slarti, I am certain that you are contemplating this.

That is very good news; I found it really frustrating to no longer have the sunroof on my 212. Almost every automobile I had owned in the past featured foldable seats. During the first three years, I would extend my arm towards the roof lining on a bright day in an attempt to open the non-existent sun blind or sun roof. Unfortunately, my efforts were in vain.

Perhaps an other establishment might be more suitable, since it seems that the chairs in this particular saloon are immovable. And there is no Distronic feature. However, such occurrences.

This one meets all the criteria. The vehicle lacks a bright cabin, although it does include a panoramic top. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with Distronic and lane assist features.
-
Indeed, they generate a quite large area. I installed these on my W202 C43. I cannot recall if they were included as a choice or not. Additionally, I have owned two prior 200SX vehicles. These items are part of the Touring Pack, if I remember correctly. Indeed, almost every automobile I have had has been equipped with foldable seats, including two hatchbacks, two coupes, one saloon, and two estates. Additionally, there are other corporate vehicles of the Cavalier type that fall inside the range. The only vehicles I have had that did not have them were a pair of Minis and a Sud Sprint.
-
Distronic seems to be atypical over the whole spectrum. Unfortunately, I believe it is the most superior driver assistance system available. If I were to choose a sedan, it would be necessary for it to have collapsible seats. In a few of years, I will be relocating and will need them.
-
I came across information stating that foldable seats were a standard feature on E63 vehicles, but I was uncertain about the specific version. I appreciate your clarification on this matter. I intended to write the number 212 instead of 213.

Greetings, everyone. Within a year, I would consider selling my current property and purchasing a smaller one in order to generate some more funds. Therefore, I will ensure that I make a provision for my next vehicle. My wife is not enthusiastic about acquiring a third vehicle. If I want to have two automobiles, it is important that the bigger one be somewhat practical. I realised that an E63 with foldable rear seats may meet the criteria. An example of a 5.5 terabyte storage device manufactured between 2014 and 2016. Is it true that the 213 generation of E63 comes with standard foldable rear seats, as I read in an article? Additionally, is Distronic a widely used feature? I really like it.

Deciding between rebuilding or replacing - facing a dilemma
Captiva replied to Samuraisaint's topic in General
Dispose of the damaged automobile and purchase an unaltered gasoline-powered vehicle that is in good running condition, has a lengthy valid MOT certificate, and has a complete record of regular maintenance without any periods of being unlicensed or off the road. It is preferable for the vehicle to have had fewer previous owners. The object is not red in colour. Please verify whether the rear subframe has been replaced by referring to post 2. -
My device became stuck 18 months ago. Despite my first attempts to avoid using the BFI method (Brute Force and Ignorance), I eventually succumbed to forcefully pounding and using my whole bodyweight to pull on it, which successfully resolved the issue. Personally, I have adjusted it to my preferred position and have not made any changes since then. In my opinion, I would suggest doing the same. The expense of fixing it is far more than the discomfort of the vehicle not moving when you exit it, to be truthful.

.....and who will be responsible for enforcing that when you make online purchases?Indeed, no one.

Mice do not self-amputate their own legs; it is other animals who discover them caught in traps that engage in such behaviour. Many individuals have made similar claims about rabbits caught in snares, disregarding the presence of many foxes in the vicinity.

Greetings, everybody. I hope everyone is in good health. This community has always provided me with invaluable advice, particularly during urgent situations. Expressing profound gratitude Given my extensive driving, I strive to ensure that the headlights are maximally luminous. To ensure compliance with legal regulations and prevent any obstacles for others I just conducted a search on Amazon and stumbled onto a device specifically designed for the purpose of polishing headlights. It seems that it has over 1000 reviews. Considering whether or not to do it, but do you believe that my headlights really require polishing? Alternatively, maybe just polishing and applying a spray? Please locate the pictures contained therein. What are the opaque bands located above the headlight?

Although not the original engine, it nonetheless has significance.

Which automobiles now fail to provide such features and more? Currently, automobiles tend to have mechanical or electrical malfunctions far before their engines die. (However, this may not apply to the most recent iteration of small-displacement, high-boost engines.) I own a 2.0 diesel Alfa Romeo with a mileage of 174,000 miles. At my workplace, there are two heavily used Astra vans, one with a mileage of 184,000 miles and the other with a mileage of 169,000 miles. The mileage on my Ranger is around 150,000 miles. We own a 2017 Golf Mk7 with a mileage of 212,000 kilometres as well. (I commute daily from Bridport to Chichester and return.) With the exception of the ALFA, none of these automobiles are adored.Recently, I became aware that my Ranger, which is mostly used for towing, had gone over 4 years without an oil change. Quite amusing, isn't it? Contemporary lumps are quite resistant to damage....whether they are Mercedes or not.

Is it possible that the injector seats are leaking? If such is the case, the "oil" refers to diesel fuel that has been lost, and the heat generated by the engine will cause the liquid to evaporate, resulting in what is often known as "black death" (which is not as severe as it may seem). Perform a search for "black death" on this platform or on the internet to access a wealth of information.

Information about the car includes its model, age, fuel type (petrol or diesel), engine configuration (V6, V8, or inline 4), and engine size. The individuals here are very helpful, however it is necessary to provide them with occasional hints on the nature of the engine.

The fuel economy of the S212 350CDI 4MATIC model is being requested.
Captiva replied to NameInterest's topic in General
I own a 2012 model year E350CDI with a horsepower rating of 265 bhp. Without the 4matic feature, there will be a noticeable impact. For long runs, such as those ranging from 50 to 100 miles, I often achieve the following: The vehicle achieves a fuel efficiency of 55 miles per gallon while travelling at a speed of 70 miles per hour. The vehicle achieves a fuel efficiency of 60 miles per gallon while travelling at a speed of 65 miles per hour. The vehicle achieved a fuel efficiency of 64 miles per gallon while maintaining a speed of around 58-59 miles per hour. The driver maintained a consistent speed in the first lane and avoided passing other vehicles, particularly trucks. By maintaining a gap of around two seconds behind trucks and using various techniques used by hyper-milers, such as avoiding braking and implementing all fuel-saving strategies, it is possible to achieve a fuel efficiency of 75 miles per gallon over long distances.
