  1. I admitted to having the local garage replace it.
  2. I will attempt again tomorrow; but, this morning, after around half an hour of effort, I lost sensation in my fingers and decided to stop.
  3. Based on the photographs. A metal bar seems to extend from the negative terminal of the battery, and I cannot locate a clamp bolt. The plastic encasing the battery seems to be divided into two halves, although I cannot discern how it separates. The new battery weighs over 20 kg, making it difficult to manoeuvre in and out of the area (assuming I can ascertain how to remove the old one!). It may be necessary to enlist the services of the local garage if I can successfully jump-start the vehicle to drive it there.
  4. Can someone provide guidance on how to remove the primary battery from the engine compartment? Insufficient space seems to hinder access to the terminals, and I cannot locate a hold-down clamp.
  5. Regrettably, water ingress on electrical components is not covered under MB’s warranty. I received this information when my front parking sensors malfunctioned because of water exposure. I had a replacement wiring loom installed at my local indie for under half of what MB quoted. πŸ™„
  6. I believe there are similarities between the events in the USA throughout the 1980s and 1990s, when Japanese brands significantly increased their market share to the detriment of local automobile manufacturers. At that time, the USA significantly surpassed the UK in terms of lease and monthly payment options for automobile acquisition, facilitating market entry for newcomers. Regarding cost structure, a significant expense that new entrants are not burdened with is the long-term obligation to former employees for pension and perhaps healthcare benefits, which established firms must manage to varying degrees. A buddy of mine was engaged in consultant work in the USA at a period when major domestic automakers were facing financial instability and completed a project for GM. One of the Executive Vice Presidents in Detroit said to him, "You are erroneously assuming that this enterprise is chiefly an automaker." We are not. We are a supplier of pensions and healthcare that also manufactures autos.
  7. Thank you, my friend. What seems to be the problem? What are some suggestions for resolving this issue? Thank you one again.
  8. I much appreciate that; I will proceed accordingly.
  9. Thank you for your response; it is much appreciated. I own an Icarsoft diagnostic machine, which is displaying code 146300, indicating that component R48 has an open circuit. Could this be the reason why the engine cranks but fails to start? Thank you once again.
  10. Hello everyone, I own a 2011 E350 Bluetec convertible that cranks and attempts to start but fails to do so. Are there any fuses I should inspect, and where are the fuse boxes situated? Has anybody encountered this issue? Thank you for your assistance.
  11. Similar to them, they will be suitable for it.
  12. A variation of 2mm in offset will have no impact whatsoever.
  13. I agree with AmericaMonster's suggestion. It would be advisable to seek out an other garage or technician. Most likely, the idler pulley is deteriorating. Replace both the idler pulley and the tension pulley. I had similar issue with my CLK car in the past.

I understand the situation now. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Appears to be costly. I have obtained a 3-year contract with 3 months of service for a monthly fee of Β£44. You may need to advocate for the gearbox service, since many Mercedes-Benz dealerships may not provide exceptional service. Head office dictates their actions.
  16. Indeed, the unfortunate occurrence of an evening spent cycling is often marred by the unpleasant experience of inadvertently ingesting a significant number of little flying insects known as midges, causing discomfort and annoyance.
  17. whether you own a trickle charger, consider using it to charge the battery slowly overnight. Then, measure the voltage the following morning to see whether this approach yields the desired outcome.
  18. This particular item is really impervious to punctures.
  19. It even has AMG alloy wheels.
  20. πŸ‘ I envisioned it being lowered, equipped with alloy wheels and adorned with go faster stripes.
  21. Will solid tires provide a satisfactory ride quality?
  22. What are the dimensions of the tires? Similar to Trickythemerc, I have successfully used Slime in my bicycle tires. However, it is not a permanent solution and I have discovered that it has to be replenished every few months.
  23. It began occurring more than a decade ago. However, originally, the reason for this was due to the insurance group at the core exchanging information. If you maintain the same insurer or switch between insurers within different groups, you would not see any change. Its prevalence has increased since then. It is malevolent. However, I believe that the whole credit rating system and its foundations are more malevolent. Stringent and severe regulation is necessary, however politicians and a significant portion of the people seem unconcerned.
