  1. When using the pan roof, the roofrack or roofbars are attached to the fittings on the 'roof rails', not the glass. This is the case for both of my vehicles. Hence, it is reasonable to assume that the effective weight limit would be same to that of a vehicle without a panoramic roof. However, caution should be used owing to the presence of glass and the possibility of opening the roof.
  2. After examining the Gen2 wiring schematics, I am certain that it should be the case (hopefully).
  3. The junction box is located on the right-hand side of the footwell. Both 40A and F52 and F53.
  4. I believe the issue is not connected to the fuse. Upon examining the wiring schematic for both standard and xenon lights, it is seen that the power supply is directed to the FRM (Footwell Module) before being distributed to the lights. Both sides have a shared basis, thus it is not that. It is possible that there is an exposed wire or corrosion on one of the connections.
  5. Two inquiries. 1) Did you purchase it brand new? Has the dealer or any shop performed any repair that required the removal of the wheel arch liner? It seems to have been scraped rather than peeled, in my observation.
  6. The pets are not a good bargain.
  7. Regardless of whether I get it on the p38 or my w202, I will still acquire it.
  8. If someone knows the method for wiring it, please inform me.
  9. What method did you use to connect it to your vintage vehicle? Alternatively, are you aware of its wiring?
  10. Is anybody now use a rev restriction on a P38 vehicle? I discovered a Bee R one available for a price of $20, like the one seen in the photograph.
  11. There is no sound of chains rattling. I have received a quotation of £700 from the dealers for a chain kit, and as a result, I have chosen not to proceed with the purchase. Although I lack extensive knowledge about the repair process, I contacted another Mercedes professional who confirmed that replacing the manifold on the GL would require removing the engine.
  12. An average of 5,000 dollars every year for the last four years. Presently, the value stands at 7,000.
  13. I have a mileage of 97,000. The vehicle has been serviced by both a dealer and an independent Mercedes expert. I anticipate retaining ownership of the automobile for around another 4 years.
  14. Greetings, everyone. Recently, my four-wheel drive vehicle was diagnosed with a fractured manifold after a decrease in engine output. The turbo is in good condition. Is it recommended to repair the timing chain while the engine is removed for manifold replacement? The 4x4 vehicle performs well without any concerns related to the timing chain. In October of last year, the oil cooler was changed and it was advised to also repair the intake motor (the specific name of which I cannot recall) simultaneously. Any advice would be highly appreciated.
