I have since discovered that my model is not equipped with an oil dipstick. It was not until. Upon returning home, I discovered that I could monitor the oil level via the dashboard computer. I attempted this, but although it indicated that a measurement was in progress, no oil level was displayed. Has anyone else had this issue? Was it a defective alarm, a malfunctioning sensor, or did the operator fail to adequately secure the sump plug during servicing? I am taking it to the dealership tomorrow to have them assess the oil level; if it is insufficient, I will be somewhat displeased. After attempting to locate the dipstick with a light, I am confident that I can observe oil in the plastic tray beneath the engine. Any feedback before to tomorrow would be very appreciated.

M8 the platforms themselves aren’t the issue it’s the fake sellers abusing them. A friend of mine got caught recently with a fake AutoTrader listing. Car was advertised at half its real value he sent £7800, and thankfully the bank refunded him within three days, although they did deduct a small admin fee. So yeah, protection exists, but you still want to deal with a real company, not just rely on the bank to clean up the mess.

That new refund rule is a step in the right direction, to be fair scams are everywhere now, especially on Facebook Marketplace and even Ebay. It’s got to the point where you almost expect something dodgy unless proven otherwise.
