  1. Past hour
  2. Definitely petrol. Fuel is less expensive than diesel initially, and most new cars get good petrol mileage, so there isn't much of a difference in operating costs.
  3. It's a tough call between the AMG and the 1.3L Renault engine, but I'll go with the latter. 1.3L gasoline...nah.....there's "no replacement for displacement"! I doubt most people would be thinking about both of those things at the same time. Personally, I'd stay away from most modern diesels.
  4. I would stay away from the OM654 engine because of its AdBlue system. Diesel has fallen out of favour, and the price of diesel fuel has increased. If an AMG is what you're after, then the CLA35 is a good choice. In terms of ride quality, maintenance expenses, gas mileage, and other metrics, it is not really compatible with the other two models you listed. Despite its lack of racing prowess, the 1.3L is known for its economy and dependability.
  5. Petrol is a must, but considering your usage, full lecky could be a possibility. The cost per mile is now quite comparable due to the spread on petrol vs diesel at the pumps.
  6. I'm in the market for a new vehicle and am prioritising durability and dependability. Which is better, a petrol or diesel? I can't make up my mind. On my way to work, I appreciate a diesel's torque and fuel efficiency, but I'm anxious about DPF and other breakdowns because: 30 minutes to cover 9 miles on A roads In the evening, I have a five-mile trek to the gym, which takes twenty minutes more. The mileage is 7,000 miles per year. Once a week, I'm willing to put in the extra effort to drive 45 minutes to an hour on the highway. Is this going to make up for the earlier brief trips? Is this not a certainty, though? I have also heard that diesels may have trouble meeting emission standards in the long run due to soot building up in the intake manifolds, but I'm not sure if this is true or not. I am considering the following engines: (These will be relatively fresh) 1) CLA 200 1.3 L (I know this one from Renault!) Model 282 At high rpm, though, I've heard nothing but bad things about this engine. The CLA 220d 2.0 L OM654 I've heard that they're dealing with problems with their timing chains and diesel engines. 3) 2023 plate CLA 35 AMG M260 I'm not sure if the cylinder head issues have been resolved in the 2023 model or if there is still a risk of them. I've heard that these have problems. Whenever possible, I've stayed away from models that use 48-volt mild hybrid technology. Do you think these will be costly and troublesome in the long run? Would you say that mild hybrid technology or diesal technology is the more problematic of the two? Which poison should I use? I'm not sure.

  17. The response is much appreciated. Since I intend to upgrade to Stage 1 with E85 if at all possible and my present injectors are malfunctioning, I figured it wouldn't hurt to have more efficient injectors. The high-pressure pump was the downfall of this "Stage 1 + E85" upgrade that I had previously attempted. So, I was wondering if there are any other injectors that are more powerful and if there is a high-pressure pump that can be upgraded. (Sorry if there are any typos; I'm utilising a translation tool.)
  18. Just what are you hoping to accomplish by making this upgrade?....more fuel efficiency?....smoother operation? There isn't much benefit to switching injectors unless you're planning on a huge power increase that requires a lot of additional fuel. So long as you don't intend to track or drag your vehicle after a heavy tune—in which case you'll need to keep the throttle open all the time—stock injectors will be more than enough to power the engine at full throttle under heavy load without running lean. Tuned AMG E63s with 1000 horsepower are using pump fuel with factory injectors.

  20. Greetings, I am the proud owner of a 2.0T Infiniti Q50 equipped with the M274 engine. Please find attached the original part number for the fuel injectors that I am trying to replace: A2780700687. I appreciate it in advance.
  21. combined with Google's search engine. I am uncertain about the Routing.
  22. Last year, I think Kia switched to Google Maps. When I compare, I see that Google and Kia both use the same routing.
  23. Does the EV2 come with Google Maps? instead of the TomTom Kia-based system?
  24. In comparison to the EV2 standard range models, the infotainment software version in my new EV2 GT Line S seems to be quite recent. 260506, which is May 6, 2026, is the number I have. I assume it downloads the maps and infotainment system by default since there is no explicit option to do so in the setup screen but to enable System OTA. Driving past a school at 30 mph now only registers as 20 mph, which was my biggest complaint.
  25. Though roadworks are visible when Google detects them (since they are the service providers), I am seeing road closures and the like quite frequently.
  26. Assuming there are any, you will receive an alert once OTA is enabled. The process of reporting road work areas to navigation companies and then creating updates takes time, so please be patient. Therefore, we may have to wait months.
  27. As much of a pain as anything else, you can disable the feature that automatically adjusts your speed based on the posted limits. As of right now (in May), there have been no updates, and the Kia navigation updater site is still in the dark regarding the EV2.
  28. If there have been any updates to the EV2's infotainment system or satnav, I would like to know how frequently they update the satnav so that the car doesn't reduce speed when using cruise control, because I've noticed that it shows old speed limits in areas where the speed limits have been removed due to roadworks. I appreciate each and every response.
