TypoQueen
Greetings to everyone, My vehicle was in the shop for two months, and upon its return, I saw a "auxiliary battery malfunction" notification on the dashboard, leading me to consider that it may need charging or replacement. I assessed the battery's condition, and the voltmeter indicated a healthy charge of 12.6V. Additionally, I connected it to the charger, which displayed a Full Charge status. I connect the automobile to a charger, and it has provided C073300, "Retrieve fault memory from control module."N10 (SAM Control Module) B1E211B The buffer battery is defective. The resistance limit has been surpassed. I have wire brushed the connections, nevertheless the same issue persists. Is the voltage measurement an inadequate indication of the battery's condition, or should I assess other components inside the vehicle? Thank you very much
Lemmand
Which automobile is it? Is it not possible for it to be the 2008 CLC? I changed the 12 Ah auxiliary battery in my W222 twice due to the same problem code. The old battery exhibited optimal voltage while unloaded; however, when attaching a 21 W bulb, the voltage decreased by several volts (precise values are not recalled). TypoQueen
I apologize; I need to update my profile to reflect my 2015 E-Class Coupe. I will replace it and see the outcome. Thank you.
SilentSpanner
The open circuit voltage does not inherently signify a battery's quality. It is necessary to do a load test.
TypoQueen
I will accomplish that! Thank you very much
Spiderer
Examine your primary 12v battery as well. When my device reached eight years of age, it failed to maintain the auxiliary battery's charge.
TypoQueen
I just changed the primary battery. I am inquiring if the white font 4-digit number located on the center top surface of the battery represents the week and year of manufacture (e.g., 46 15), akin to the etched code on the battery connection of the main battery. I suspect that my auxiliary is the original battery.
Spiderer
The first character from the left is a letter. It represents a month of the year. A represents January; B denotes February; C signifies March, and so on. The second number from the left denotes the year the battery was sent from the plant. 4 corresponds to 2004, 5 corresponds to 2005, 6 corresponds to 2006, 7 corresponds to 2007, 8 corresponds to 2008, 9 corresponds to 2009, 0 corresponds to 2010, 1 corresponds to 2011, 2 corresponds to 2012, and so forth. Ziinsig
Greetings, friend - Did you fix this issue? I have been experiencing the same problem for an extended period. Replaced the auxiliary battery, but it had no effect. Inquiring if it is the primary battery. The Start/Stop feature is similarly nonfunctional.
