Bitxx Posted May 11 Share Posted May 11 I am now endeavouring to get the exhaust system of my vehicle removed and restored to its original factory condition in order to prepare it for sale. However, why is it quite challenging to get a well regarded technician that has the expertise to service a R8 vehicle in the San Francisco Bay Area? I have come across many options, however there are individuals who have had negative experiences regarding each of them, either conveyed by individuals in this community or others in the Bay Area Facebook group with whom I have conversed. Garage in Silicon Valley David's Autoworks and HTL Motorsports If anybody has firsthand experience with JB Autoworks, I would appreciate hearing about it as I am now contemplating their services. I would appreciate hearing from those who have personally had their second-generation (gen2) devices serviced by any of these establishments and would want to know about their own experiences. I recommend establishing a cordial relationship with the proprietor and/or technician of a skilled automotive establishment, and proceeding accordingly. Automan Posted May 11 Share Posted May 11 Replacing and removing them is very difficult and time-consuming. Non-technical, although there are hundreds of fasteners. Visit Kies Motorsports' YouTube channel. Why not just include the aftermarket exhaust when selling the item and provide the buyer with the original factory exhaust?
