Sportage GTLine 23....problems!

The Sportage GTLine model of the year 2023. Oh my God... I am becoming frustrated with this automobile and the inadequate 'service' provided by the dealership to address these problems!
The age of my automobile is less than one year. It has been in their workshop for a duration of one week in an attempt to identify the problem with the gear knob, which is now not engaging and thus preventing movement. The dealer was unable to identify any issues, but surprisingly, the problem has not recurred since they had the vehicle in their possession.
Additional problems have arisen - my spouse operated the vehicle and adjusted the seat to the '2' position (I typically use the '1' position since it is my vehicle!). The next day, I reenter the vehicle and activate the preset 1 seat position, but there is no response. It is ineffective for both settings. In addition, the dashboard visuals underwent a transformation and the clock displayed a time that was one hour ahead. I brought it to the dealer, who observed all the flaws. Upon returning inside, I provide them with the registration number. However, there is no vehicle registered under my name with that particular registration number. Last year, I was registered as the owner of a white Sportage. However, owing to several unsolved issues, I returned it and obtained this Blue Sportage instead. As previously said, this blue vehicle has been physically present in their workplace, but it is not recorded in their computer system. Currently, I must endure a wait until May, after a holiday, before they can schedule a diagnostic appointment. What is the reason for the popularity of this model? Feeling remorseful about purchasing the item..... does anybody else have this sentiment???

What is your current location? The dealer in my vicinity, located in Northampton, is seeing a similar issue with the acquisition of automobiles. My preference is mobility, thus I entrusted it to RAC. They examined it and resolved the problem, informing me that I could retrieve it. The application indicated that the battery was not undergoing the process of recharging, prompting the individuals to retain it and thereafter get a replacement component. Previously, this dealer has shown exceptional performance. However, it is possible that the current issue might be attributed to a shortage of skilled technicians. Excessive dependence on computer diagnostics - I cannot say for certain, but you are not the only one facing this issue.

I am currently located in the South West region.
Are you dissatisfied with your automobile in general? I am uncertain if the issue lies with the absence of mechanics or technicians. My belief is that the technology is not yet sufficiently developed.

Regarding the seat and positions, I discovered that they are also dependent on the individual's profile. Although I am identified as "1" on my profile, if my wife drives the vehicle and picks her profile, I am not identified as "1" on her profile. I had believed it was inconsequential. This may not be the problem you are experiencing, but it deceived me.

I now own my second Sportage, having purchased a new 4 model in 2019 and a GT Line S model in March 2022. Both vehicles have proven to be excellent choices. Encountered a single problem with the coolant, but it seems to have been resolved. The service provided by Kia and the dealer beyond that of any other dealer or manufacturer I have dealt with.

I hope that your automobile issues be resolved promptly. While contemporary cars are generally reliable, it is uncertain if the car or the dealer can be fully trusted to remedy the problem.
