Patagil
Could someone suggest a suitable pair of polarised glasses specifically designed for nighttime use to mitigate the glare caused by headlights? Alternatively, it might be referring to a specific procedure or modification performed on their eyeglasses. I often operate a vehicle while wearing contact lenses, however I am also capable of using glasses. Due to the very bright LED headlights of current vehicles and my astigmatism, I am actively seeking ways to avoid encountering them. this is not always feasible! Mezuzzi
Headlights that blind other drivers are typically misaligned, a common issue observed during the initial MOT inspection of most cars. I have contemplated purchasing a pair of these glasses for my wife, as she appears to have difficulty with oncoming cars. I did clean the interior of her windscreen, which she mentioned significantly improved visibility. Therefore, I am also curious about the efficacy of these yellow driving glasses and whether they are worth purchasing.

baelicious
Initially, I had doubts about the efficacy of yellow/amber night driving glasses. However, due to increasing worries about the glare from headlights, I felt compelled to explore potential solutions. In search of a product that would be suitable for use with my varifocal glasses, I purchased a low-cost set of flip-up clip-ons from Amazon, without having high expectations. These clip-ons, which cost less than £7 including delivery, pleasantly surprised me with the significant improvement they provided. My prescription glasses contain many coatings, so I just need a coloured filter. However, I suggest purchasing an inexpensive set to assess their effectiveness. Dudeta
The yellow night driving glasses available for purchase on Amazon have a soothing and revitalising effect on fatigued eyes. It is advisable to consider purchasing this item for £6 if your eyes are sensitive to the intense brightness of the current million candle power LED device. Banman
The optician I visited in another country performed many procedures on my eyeglasses at a much lower cost compared to the prices in the United Kingdom. I must acknowledge that they perform really well.
Banman
Curiously, one of the maintenance tasks for MB vehicles is to adjust the lights. However, I have doubts about the frequency with which this task is really performed.
Captiva
The amber lenses are effective in heavy rain and are worth experimenting with. However, I have not tested them against strong lighting yet.

Anhartic
I have experienced the progressive impact of cataract without being aware of it. Both of my eyes were diagnosed by Specsavers and underwent a new form of contracting out at Spa Medica, free of charge. Within a year, Specsavers identified a deterioration in vision caused by the progressing consequences of the surgeries. Specsaver claimed the presence of crystal growth behind the new lenses, whereas SpaMedica attributed it to the development of scar tissue. Last week, Spa Medica performed laser treatment on the right eye. The eyesight in my right eye has returned to excellent condition. Driving at night instilled a sense of anxiety. I made every effort to evade it. The inexpensive yellow lens glasses purchased online provided some assistance, but did not provide a complete solution. Recently, I was on my way to pick up my mother using the wheelchair-accessible Viano, in order to facilitate her departure from the elderly care facility. I decided to return home since I didn't feel confident in my ability to drive securely. However, it is important to note that the cause of the incident was not related to the headlights. I am now able to drive at night without experiencing the discomfort to my eyes that I previously experienced. However, the race to have the brightest headlights is a result of our politicians' unwillingness to regulate it. Certain automobiles exhibit varying degrees of inferiority, and I have observed that Minis, in particular, possess a notable level of deficiency, maybe attributable to their aerodynamically inclined design. LED headlights are generally suitable for use on flat roads, although it should be noted that the majority of our roads are not level. If I, as the victim, am positioned lower or if the attacker is situated on a slightly elevated slope, I am subjected to a direct impact on my face. Additionally, there are lights that dim automatically, but only after they have detected my presence. Regrettably, I was seen by the menacing creature, which pursued and captured me, even when I attempted to hide or change direction, even from a considerable distance. At now, manufacturers have developed headlights with very high luminosity. Does this phenomenon potentially incentivize drivers to operate their vehicles at higher speeds? We possess really luminous daytime running lights (DRLs) for the back of the vehicle, as well as unquestionably functioning brake lights. However, it seems that some automobiles have their indicators positioned in a more inconspicuous manner, making them less noticeable compared to the vehicle's other illumination. Despite several developments in the globe, I do not see any notable enhancement in intellect. I believe my personal experience might be valuable for other individuals of advanced age who find themselves driving while often expressing frustration with the illumination of traffic signals. Sumoto
I will provide more elaboration later, but it is important to note that there is no scientific foundation for the use of "night driving tints" in a therapeutic context. Wearing coloured lenses at night, in the absence of light, is very undesirable. All favourable feedback is only anecdotal and lacks substantiation in a peer-reviewed article. Patagil
That is very regrettable! Is there any assistance available? I have reached out to my optician to inquire about potential solutions for my prescription lenses. However, if you possess any profound insights or valuable knowledge, kindly share them. RosaStyle
Currently, I make an effort to refrain from driving at nighttime due to the many reasons stated by others. Driving my wife's Porsche is unfavourable, likely due to its low ground clearance. I am not fond of the concept of tinted night driving glasses, however I am very certain that I have seen them being shown in Boots Opticians on my visits. Darthilli
Hello, These new lighting systems are really troublesome. The lighting system, along with many features and accessories, is really exceptional when placed properly. Throughout the whole 8-year period that I had the automobile, I never experienced any instances when other drivers flashed their lights at me. ( C207E400 ) Instead of staring directly at a blinding light, I have modified my driving technique by quickly shifting my gaze between the edge of the road and the light source. This significantly diminishes the intensity of the glare. It is quite beneficial to wipe the windscreen both within and outside. I have experimented with sunglasses that purportedly reduced glare, but I remain unconvinced about the efficacy of the achieved outcomes. The ultimate solution rests with the authorities, who must ensure that headlights are meticulously built and precisely calibrated to avoid any potential glare.Although it may seem very difficult, it is necessary to take a firm position. What is the current status of the road side checks? My main complaint is the phenomenon of monocular vision. During my childhood, it was common to see local police vehicles patrolling the roads, which served as a visible representation of law enforcement. However, in present times, it has become more uncommon to see such police presence in South Worcestershire.
