  1. Indeed, it is suboptimal, and this appears to be a widespread problem internationally with the D7UF1 utilised in larger vehicles; the performance of the smaller equivalent, D7GF1, remains uncertain. The dual-mass flywheel may potentially be a problem. I saw that certain manufacturers have forsaken dual-clutch systems, with the ZF 8-speed gearbox gaining prominence in numerous larger applications; nonetheless, there are even accounts of its disintegration. The dealer raised no objections, and the technician indicated that the service will be performed in accordance with a Technical Service Bulletin from the manufacturer. I perceived that they were quite knowledgeable about the problem. Upon collection, I was informed that the clutch had been replaced and the TCU control logic had been upgraded. Currently, there is a significant enhancement in its performance; it predominantly used first gear at low speeds and no longer attempts to accelerate in second gear from 2-3 mph as it previously did, indicating deliberate efforts to refine gear selection and minimise clutch wear. It is hoped that this will now demonstrate more durability. In the OP's situation, I am doubtful that the dealer effectively rectified the issue on the initial attempt, given the rapid recurrence of the error over a short distance. However, as you mentioned, we must ascertain the specific work that was performed.
  2. In the UK, the sole automatic transmission available for the third generation Ceed (CD) was the 7-DCT with a dual dry clutch; a conventional torque converter was not provided. Gear selection and clutch engagement are facilitated by electric servo motors. The sole oil present lubricates the gears similarly to a manual transmission. The predominant concerns pertain to the clutch, whereas the remainder appears to be quite durable. I am eager to learn about its prior modifications. My vehicle necessitated a new clutch pack at 40,000 miles, which was fortunately covered under warranty. Despite my fondness for the automobile, I do not foresee retaining it past the warranty time for this reason.
  3. I have never seen mine; they snap at the tips. This is only apparent while navigating corners aggressively. My car is not driven recklessly, since I adhere to speed restrictions approximately 90% of the time. However, they failed; I have owned an E90 330d and an E92 335, and the rear components fractured when stationary in the driveway, as did the front components on the E90.I attribute the issue to speed humps; residents in areas with harsh conditions experience this problem. In my locality, some speed humps necessitate driving at 1 mph, which is detrimental to any suspension system. I consulted a garage owner with 40 years of experience, and he indicated that since the implementation of speed humps, the frequency of suspension component replacements has consistently increased.
  4. The rear components of my 2017 F82 M4 have failed at 36,000 miles. I replaced all four for reassurance, opting for Eibach Sport Pro, which was far more economical than BMW parts.
  5. I am exceedingly satisfied with the MHEV. Turbo S Performance Package
  6. Not really had anything to do with the later B48 so cannot really comment on them.
  7. Indeed, they are substandard; also, as you have said, they experience crank end float, which damages the pistons. Refrain from engaging with them, since their adjustments are not worth the inconvenience.
  8. Has the vehicle undergone remapping? If executed poorly, increased fuel pressure may cause the car to enter limp mode under load.
  9. Strange. I discarded my Mercedes me adapter when support ceased and the application became nonfunctional. I cannot get why someone would desire to purchase one; the dongle is ineffective without the application. I now lament not selling it on eBay.
  10. I just had a haircut and colour done by a local mobile stylist, which cost £150.
  11. Thank you, please detach the bumper and thread it through the sensor grommet.
  12. Hello, I want advice on putting underglow lights on my Series 1 E88. I need to access the battery from the back of the vehicle. Does anybody know how to reach it from outside the car? Thank you in advance.
  13. The rear wheels are typically broader in a staggered configuration.
  14. 18-inch wheels and tires will enhance ride quality, however they will never achieve limousine-level comfort.

    12-volt battery

I believe there is a human aspect involved. I lack evidence for this, but I assume it may be a combination of the two. I have seen individuals discussing the practice of leaving their vehicles unlocked, or passing by their automobiles at home while carrying their phones or keys, and experiencing very low battery levels. These factors induce the automobile to reply or poll, therefore using the 12v power supply. I am not asserting this is the explanation; nonetheless, I believe there is a combination of factors including software and hardware, however the precise ratio of these elements remains the significant inquiry. Currently, I am predisposed to believe that the human aspect may be the more significant component. Should mine be succesful, I will amend that assertion 🙂 It seems that if the primary battery's charge falls below 20%, it will cease to charge the 12V battery.

They are experiencing issues with the Niro, EV6, and EV9. I believe it is premature for the EV3s to signal their readiness. I believe that this issue is prevalent among electric vehicles in general, rather than being exclusive to Kia alone. However, I must concede that Kia seems to possess a considerable quantity of them.
  17. Could you upload one or two images of it?
  18. If your vehicle is in excellent condition and operating well, I would likely go with a seventh service. There is no justification for spending more funds when you deem it unworthy. A notable advantage is that you now have an estimate of the cost for the eighth service.
  19. Numerous things are involved; only you can provide an answer to that question. However, if you want to adhere to the service schedule, this should be its eighth; has it been overlooked?
  20. Did you resolve a similar issue? I too have water surrounding the fuse box on the right-hand side at the rear.
  21. Indeed, I was aware of the relationship; nevertheless, the issue is that, according to the Italian traffic code, all-season tyres must possess a speed rating that is not inferior to that of summer tires, which, in the case of the Mini Countryman, is Y. I am uncertain if the legislation differs in England... I would want Mini/BMW to avoid creating another issue; the concern of all-season tires does not pertain to me (17" rims...). I saw your response on a different thread.
  22. Moreover, during the homologation process, it is likely that all engines, including the JCW with a maximum velocity of 250 km/h, were taken into account to establish distinct speed codes.
  23. I shared a screenshot of the speed codes in Italy; the Countryman C specifies a maximum speed of 212 km/h, perhaps due to safety considerations that preclude a lower measurement.
