  1. PS If you are acquainted with your engine builder, it is worthwhile to enquire if they are still employed at AMG and whether a meeting is possible. Occasionally, they successfully accomplish it, quite impressive.
  2. I recommend the AMG factory tour as well. For an AMG, providing the VIN number suffices for booking. All complimentary badges, including of a meal. It is uncertain whether individuals without an AMG can participate, however it may be worthwhile to enquire if you are interested. Even individuals who lack an interest in automobiles like it.
  3. This is peculiar. The instructions indicate that there are two components, with the section nearer to the seat being foldable.
  4. Intriguing. I have seen that the description for the link I shared indicates three items. I am uncertain about my feelings towards it; but, I believe I would need to see one to have a more informed perspective.
  5. Affirmative. I prefer not to remove a rubber tray to reach the storage underneath. Consequently, the OEM seems to be the optimal choice.
  6. Indeed. I am aware of that. 😃 I am enquiring about the OEM rubber cargo tray.

  8. Does anybody own this? It seems to include recesses or grooves that facilitate folding, so granting access to the under-storage trays.
  9. I concur. I possess two customised vehicles: a Jaguar XKR and a factory C4 Corvette, both equipped with stainless steel sports exhausts. However, my spouse has prohibited me from making similar modifications to the CL, as it would fundamentally alter the car's character, which I regard as inherently elegant.

The same occurrence occurred for me yesterday, immediately followed by the Alarm!
  11. Affirmative. The BMW two-year or 20,000-mile service interval is just a strategy to present maintenance expenses as reduced, which, in my view and that of many others, is detrimental to the engine.
  12. Examine the maintenance records and identify further oil changes, namely those scheduled for every 12 months or between 7,000 to 10,000 miles. Locating a vehicle that has undergone maintenance indicates that the owner valued it and did not just use it.
  13. A buddy upgraded to Endless pads (ME20) on his GTS while monitoring it and saw a significant improvement compared to the factory pads. He further updated to the Endless brake fluid. He said that they are quite noisy in the vicinity.
  14. My E91 originally had Sachs under the MSport specification. I replaced them with Bilstein B4 as an OEM-spec substitute when they need replacing, and they perform well, similar to the original Sachs. I conducted extensive research and verification of component numbers to ensure their equivalence to Msport specifications, since they vary from SE specifications.
  15. It is exhausted. 2007 may represent either a late N46 (the last models were on 57 plates) or an early N43. N46 engines were notorious for oil consumption due to faulty valve stem seals and piston rings. Regardless, the cost of repairs will exceed the car's value. The responsibility is on the dealer to resolve this matter in one manner or another.
