I reached out to my nearby Mercedes authorised independent service provider, who has the capability to update the digital service records. The cost for an A + Pollen Filter is £220, however the exact number of filters is uncertain. I am rather satisfied with that in comparison to Mercedes' £370.

Regrettably, the warranty for Mercedes automobiles is limited to a duration of just 4 years.

Greetings, everybody. I am now the proud owner of a brand new AMG vehicle! May I get guidance from those who possess a more comprehensive understanding of the Service Schedule? I now own a 2018 CLA45, which has had a total of four servicing sessions so far. Two A's and two B's. The fifth payment is now overdue. In the third instance, they performed the task of replacing the gearbox oil and filter, which is commendable. In the fourth instance, they replaced the spark plugs, which is once again commendable. The estimated cost for a Service and MOT is around £672 per year. Regardless of whether I choose to have 2, 3, or 4 services during a 12-month payment period, or choose for a 36 or 48-month plan, the cost per service/MOT always remains at £672. The next Service A has been quoted to me at a price of £370. Could someone provide guidance on the next significant events and the potential value of the service plan? The cost of £672 per year still seems to be pretty high, therefore I am attempting to ascertain if it would be more cost-effective to pursue the components individually. I am inclined to do the subsequent Service A independently and then initiate the Service Plan in order to get a sequence of B, A, B. However, once again, it is necessary to ascertain if £672 represents fair value. At last, there is a nearby shop that has been certified by Mercedes to retain the service history of my MB vehicle. Should they be taken into consideration? I will contact tomorrow to get a quotation. The only alternative I am contemplating is whether to pursue an independent course of action, with the intention of retaining it for a duration of 7 to 10 years. Nevertheless, I have been informed that they would provide coverage for large products in the event of an unforeseen failure, which may make it worthwhile. Thank you.

I use the Vehicle Smart tool in conjunction with the Vehicle Score feature to assess the vehicle's past records. If you are about to make a purchase, it is advisable to do a thorough inspection, such as using a service like vehicle vertical, as suggested by other individuals. The most recent V5C was given on 25 Aug 2023. It is possible that this might indicate either an address change or a registration change, but it would be advisable to investigate more. If the seller intends to sell the vehicle, it would be advisable to get the registration details and request a fresh V5C document. This is because if you were to purchase the vehicle without obtaining the registration details, you would not have the updated V5C document. Alternatively, is it possible to remove the registration details and transfer ownership simultaneously using an online process?

If your W204 is the updated version, it will be equipped with COMAND NTG4.5, unless it has Audio20. Transferring the maps via a USB drive will result in quicker loading times compared to transferring them from an SD-Card, while both methods are viable. If you have a reliable Internet connection, you may download the maps from MB yourself at no cost. However, please note that the file size is almost 40 gigabytes. Once the upload process begins, you have a few options: you can either keep the vehicle running (which is not ideal), connect it to a trickle charger, or just drive the car as usual while the maps are being transferred (although you won't be able to use the satnav while driving). Rest assured that even if you reach your destination before the maps upload is complete, the upload will resume automatically from the point where it was last interrupted when you next drive the vehicle, and it will continue until it is fully done. Additionally, it is important to update the navigation software, which involves upgrading the firmware. However, this task can only be performed by a dealer or an independent professional who has access to STAR. The latter will also have the capability to upgrade your COMAND unit from Generation 1 to Generation 2, resulting in a change from a brown colour to a grey/red colour.

I just recently changed the battery on my daughter's 2004 R50. I inspected the battery cables for corrosion and performed maintenance on the grounding connections. Although they were in satisfactory condition, it is worth noting that these cables are two decades old. Consequently, I plan to replace them within the next year.

Mini Coopers are very sensitive to any kind of neglect. And that is an inadequate representation of the truth. As a minimum, I inspect the oil level, coolant level, power steering fluid level, tyre pressures and measure the voltage across the battery using a voltmeter while the vehicle is turned off and the key is removed. I need a minimum of 12.2 or 12.3 volts of direct current (DC). An optimal voltage of 14.5 volts is recommended while the engine is idle. Apply a modest increase in engine speed and see whether there is a corresponding minor increase in voltage. The voltage should remain at around 14.5 volts. If you see a reading below 14.2 or 14.3 volts when the engine is idling, it indicates the presence of impending issues. Mini Coopers are adversely affected by power dips. They engage in very eccentric behaviour. Although I may have omitted other items from the list, I trust that you get the general concept, and I anticipate that other members will provide the items I may have overlooked.

Please inform us of your findings.

If you are experiencing a loud banging and buzzing noise, it is possible that your boost pipe may be loose. However, it is important to note that if this were the case, your vehicle would also be in a reduced power state known as "limp mode". The presence of a burning smell may be attributed to incomplete regeneration, which the automobile continues to undergo whenever feasible.

Prior to proceeding, I recommend doing preliminary research and watching instructional videos on YouTube to acquaint yourself with the available possibilities. This will likely lead to the development of more targeted inquiries. Otherwise, it is an excessively expansive inquiry that would need someone to write a concise book in order to provide you with the whole context. The forum has an excessive amount of discussions discussing the topic of "V8 vs. V10" and other gearbox options. I recommend examining some of those. Similarly, there has been a substantial amount of literature on the factors to consider during a pre-purchase inspection, making it an excellent starting point for doing research.

The issue could be resolved by replacing the batteries in the fob. Uncertain about the simplicity on a 2016 vehicle? YouTube might assist you.

USB dongles are available for purchase to enhance current Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems with wireless connectivity. If your C63s is a facelift W205 model, it likely has COMAND NTG5.5. The MB Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions may be added via STAR activation for a charge or by using a hack through the OBDII connection. To connect, a USB connection is required unless you choose for a third-party wireless dongle.
-
NTG5*1 comes with built-in compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and it may be added or enabled later if not initially available. NTG5*2 is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via third-party hardware. I believe that both options will be similarly priced to an Android device. I am curious about the benefits of the Android device from the original poster's point of view. For example, a larger display, touchscreen capabilities, and the capability to operate applications not permitted for use in vehicles.
-
What are the benefits of utilising an Android device instead of using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto? Sincere inquiry.

I had a cabin key cover for some time, but it interfered with the signal and bothered me, so I disposed of it. Maybe I just had an unpleasant experience.

Just attempted to make a purchase, but Temu now requires a minimum order of $20. My initial purchase included athletic shoes for $1.98 and fake gold coins. Looking for suggestions to reach the $20 minimum.

Avant Garde only offers Dymag barrels as their carbon wheels. Based on the lack of visibility of the Dymag logo on the barrels and the very shiny appearance of the weave in comparison to carbon wheels I have seen in real life, I would speculate that they are carbon-wrapped wheels rather than authentic carbon wheels. Without the tyres being installed, you can definitely determine.

Which tool do you use to activate the service mode?

As per Mister T's statement, it is not possible to personally change the rear brake pads if your vehicle is equipped with an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB). However, I completed the task two years ago, which would have been fortuitous. According to him, the current zero point would be incorrect. Does anybody possess a clear elucidation for this? If I do not reset my actuators to their initial position, they would malfunction and maybe get damaged.

No option for battery registration was provided for Ista.

The Foxwell 510 elite or the 530 will fulfil all of your requirements. There are other options available if you do a search, many of which have been highly recommended. Personally, I own the Foxwell scanner along with a few others, however I like to keep this information undisclosed to my spouse. -
The drowsy Bleus inadvertently enhanced Ireland's performance above their actual ability. The outcome of the match was determined by the performance of the teams at the breakdown. Observe the quantity of turnovers/penalties awarded to Ireland, despite the presence of hands on the ground before the ball or without supporting weight (3). However, it is worth mentioning that several aspects of the officiating were quite accurate, such as the Bleus' last attempt. Has anybody seen how Ireland strategically position themselves around and exploit the breakdown, similar to the All Blacks, but in a manner that may be considered technically illegal? Improved and uniformly applied officiating would be quite desirable. I really dislike the skewed scrum feeds.
