It seems remarkable; the combination of chocolate and schnitzel has convinced me! Thank you for sharing.

I am curious if it is feasible to revert to a previous firmware/software version; it may be prudent to enquire if someone is still using the old version and if they might submit a file to a sharing site for your download. Indeed, there is no assurance that the updater software will let an earlier version to supersede a newer one; but, it is worth trying. I will convey your concerns to the local dealer or directly to UK headquarters; upon notification, they may rectify this problem in the next update.

I do not possess a Sorento, nor do I have any current issues with my Soul EV; however, on a previous vehicle (not a KIA), adjusting the volume during announcements permanently altered the volume level. Additionally, there may be a speed-based sound compensation feature; in my Soul, it is located in the "Sounds" or "Audio" menu. I cannot recall the exact designation, but it is not among the media player volume options, rather it is found under "System". It cannot be adjusted; it is only either on or off, and seems to have little impact on the Soul EV. Does it reduce the audio volume while navigation, and if not, did it previously do so? If the navigation system is malfunctioning, temporarily unplugging the 12v battery may reset it. Merely some rambling thoughts before to retiring for the night.

Consider using the services of either Big Red or Brake Engineering.

Occasionally, I will accelerate the automobile to its maximum engine speed, but I have not familiarised myself with the optimal moments to change gears. During my time as a drag racer, I learnt that shifting gears at 7500 rpm, solely based on the engine's power output, was not always the optimal choice. To get such information, I would examine the specifications and curves of the cam. I have not previously engaged in such activity with this particular vehicle. In my opinion, it would be more advantageous to shift the vehicle at a point below the redline, when it is still generating power across the range, rather than waiting for it to nearly level out or reach the redline.

The shock experienced while decelerating is likely caused by the abrupt transition from second to first gear when the vehicle comes to a complete stop. Unfortunately, all of them engage in this behaviour. The only solution is to rebuild the gearbox mechatronic. The actual reason of the issue is still unknown, however, there are many effective solutions available. These include a software update, replacing the fluid and filter, installing new solenoids, using the updated separator plate, and installing new dampers.

The issue arises from the significant uncertainty caused by the fact that the before and after facelift transfer instances are fundamentally different. Being a 04 vehicle, you belong to the post facelift category, exactly as mine. This means you have an active multi-plate wet clutch. The oil selection tools may sometimes malfunction and recommend the use of pre-facelift fluid, which may cause damage to a facelift transfer case. The £30 for DTF is not worth risking.
-
To ensure reliability, it is advisable to get one litre of DTF from BMW, as recommended by @MamaKiddo. It is not advisable to take the chance, since damaging the transfer case might result in significant expenses. You will not use the whole litre since it only takes around 850 millimetres.

I own Autosol at my residence, and the headlights on the CLK vehicle are exhibiting signs of cloudiness. How might this be used to restore their clarity?

Yes, they flash like low-beam halogen lamps, so you won't blind other drivers. Once the bulbssr is attached, just rotate it until the blade is vertical and point it towards a wall to adjust the cut off line.
-
I apologise for the disorganised response, but these were the bulbs that I purchased three years ago. My 2019 Vogue with Ali-fitted LED lights are almost identical to the ones I purchased three years ago; they're a great investment at about £35 each. I sold the vehicle in the meantime. These will meet your expectations. Ensure that they are only referred to as HIGH BEAM. Avoid HIGH &LOW at all costs.

On each side, the shutter undergoes a dipping motion. I installed LEDs on mine, and it was a remarkable improvement, comparable to the LEDs produced by manufacturers.

am taken aback by your attitude - you do not seem to possess the demeanour of someone who easily surrenders or gives up! Conventional methods of communication have always been vulnerable to monitoring, and while it is not entirely legal, it would not be unexpected to discover that unencrypted emails are scanned for certain terms, phone conversations are transcribed and examined, and the internet is systematically searched for information. While there is no justification for such behaviour, this amount of intrusion is particularly egregious. The privacy of your actions within your vehicle, including your destination, conversations, appearance, driving behaviour, and more, is not being monitored by the government solely for national security purposes. Instead, it is the automobile manufacturer (who willingly sold you this costly vehicle) that is engaging in surveillance in order to profit by selling your personal information to the highest bidder. While I do not support government monitoring, I acknowledge the need of finding a delicate equilibrium between safeguarding national security and protecting individual privacy. However, private firms do not possess the same level of authority - they are not tasked with safeguarding the country from terrorist attacks or actions by foreign nation states. No, their primary motivation is to generate profit. I would not categorise or group the two things together. Privacy restrictions are intensifying in the majority of developed nations, with the United States falling behind in this aspect. Although it has been adopted for quite some time, the United States currently lacks a comparable counterpart to Europe's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). I am sceptical that the lack of understanding among our legislators is the only reason for this issue. However, it is quite likely that corporate lobbying is a contributing factor, as is often the case.

Although this subject has been previously discussed on the forum, I would like to provide a recent video that provides a comprehensive analysis of the potential dangers associated with data leaking and privacy concerns in contemporary automobiles. Vehicles such as the R8 will not only remain as the only delightful means of transportation, but they will also be the only secure sanctuaries from intrusive observation...

Greetings. Vacuum pipe. Based on the analysis of the position and size, I would suggest that the issue is with either the EGR valve or the EGR cooler bypass. It is difficult to be completely certain without knowing the specific kind of engine. Remove the upper plastic cover and examine the area below.

My car repairs are carried out by a local independent BMW specialist and cost around £300.

Positive feedback about a service. I recently had a gearbox service performed on one of my vehicles that I believed already had a smooth shifting gearbox. However, after the service, the shifting has become much smoother, much to my delight.

If there are no indications of coolant contamination in the oil, no emissions of coolant from the exhaust, and no visible leaks in the vicinity of the engine, it may be beneficial to do a pressure test, as it might potentially reveal any underlying issues. Another possibility I have seen is that either the expansion tank cap is damaged, or there is a small fracture in the tank that permits coolant to leak.

Usually, it is just the ones manufactured in the United Kingdom that often have malfunctions. 😛

I reached out to my nearby Mercedes authorised independent service provider, who has the capability to update the digital service records. The cost for an A + Pollen Filter is £220, however the exact number of filters is uncertain. I am rather satisfied with that in comparison to Mercedes' £370.

Regrettably, the warranty for Mercedes automobiles is limited to a duration of just 4 years.

Greetings, everybody. I am now the proud owner of a brand new AMG vehicle! May I get guidance from those who possess a more comprehensive understanding of the Service Schedule? I now own a 2018 CLA45, which has had a total of four servicing sessions so far. Two A's and two B's. The fifth payment is now overdue. In the third instance, they performed the task of replacing the gearbox oil and filter, which is commendable. In the fourth instance, they replaced the spark plugs, which is once again commendable. The estimated cost for a Service and MOT is around £672 per year. Regardless of whether I choose to have 2, 3, or 4 services during a 12-month payment period, or choose for a 36 or 48-month plan, the cost per service/MOT always remains at £672. The next Service A has been quoted to me at a price of £370. Could someone provide guidance on the next significant events and the potential value of the service plan? The cost of £672 per year still seems to be pretty high, therefore I am attempting to ascertain if it would be more cost-effective to pursue the components individually. I am inclined to do the subsequent Service A independently and then initiate the Service Plan in order to get a sequence of B, A, B. However, once again, it is necessary to ascertain if £672 represents fair value. At last, there is a nearby shop that has been certified by Mercedes to retain the service history of my MB vehicle. Should they be taken into consideration? I will contact tomorrow to get a quotation. The only alternative I am contemplating is whether to pursue an independent course of action, with the intention of retaining it for a duration of 7 to 10 years. Nevertheless, I have been informed that they would provide coverage for large products in the event of an unforeseen failure, which may make it worthwhile. Thank you.
