I get my vehicle serviced around every 7,500 miles. Considering the book's need of about 16,000, I believe 7,500 is sufficient. I use a Fram filter and Rotella 5W-30 full synthetic oil. My vehicle has 129,000 miles on it and it runs well. Excluding the DEF mistakes I often encounter. An error message indicating the inability to restart the engine will likely appear when the remaining distance is 249 miles and decreasing. Remain calm.
