  1. The reason the fan kicks in when an open circuit is induced to the temperature sensor is to default protect itself and communicate this to the electronic control unit (ECU). This is a normal and necessary function. On some automobiles, the fan relay or relays may be identified as green relays located in the fuse box under the hood. Additionally, there is a fuse dedicated to the fan relays on the switching side.
  2. The fan relay is not the issue here. These engines do not activate the fan until the temperature reaches 110 degrees Celsius, which is normal. The engine operates at a running temperature of 105 degrees Celsius. The thermostat housing remains closed until it heats up, allowing some cold air in to regulate the temperature at 105 degrees Celsius. To diagnose the issue, I revved the engine to 2500 RPM while monitoring the coolant temperature using live data. I also observed the header tank to check Another method to release air from the radiator is by disconnecting the small pipe attached to the header tank corner and blowing air into the header tank to expel air through the radiator. This technique is effective in bleeding air from the radiator and I have to perform this process on at least four engines every month, sometimes even on a weekly basis. The hot water flows down through the radiator as the top radiator hose heats up first, similar to how one-way pipes are installed in the heater matrix to ensure proper flow.
  3. I have never performed that procedure before. Typically, I have only bled them by using a bleed screw and monitoring the pressure in the system. It may require several attempts of heating and cooling, with refilling in between. It is important to avoid running the system for too long, as this will cause the pressure to be expelled from the header tank cap. Instead, allow the pressure to build up to about an inch from the top, then shut it off and let it cool. Upon returning, you will notice that Introducing stray battery voltages into inappropriate locations is a hazardous practice.
  4. The correct voltage for the thermostat is 12 volts on the common wire. The electronic control unit (ECU) controls the on and off switching of the earth wire to activate the thermostat. As for the capacity of the coolant system, it can hold up to 5.2 litres when completely empty. However, there may still be some coolant remaining in the radiator and heater matrix, as they have lower points than the engine coolant system. To fill the system, fill the header tank halfway and open the bleed screw on the thermostat housing to release any air. It is helpful to have the passenger side of the car elevated higher than the driver side to facilitate the release of air towards the bleed screw. I recommend running the system until the hoses become firm, then shutting it off. This will allow the system to purge itself of any remaining air.
  5. Informative, thank you for sharing. My car was the last V10 Plus manufactured in 2017.
  6. Most automobiles do not come equipped with Android Auto as a standard feature.
  7. Superior than Chinese Android touch displays. You may also contact the UK firm for warranty claims and other issues.
  8. https://integratedautomotive.co.uk/product/mercedes-benz-ntg5-0-ntg5-1-ntg5-2-2014-onwards-retrofit-carplay-and-android-auto-upgrade-kit/ The dash seems odd with the surrounding frame.
  9. Aside from a short period of bullying that I quickly stopped, I really enjoyed my time in the Scouts. It seems probable that the reasons we enjoyed it so would all be prohibited.
  10. Undoubtedly, they will be blamed for his decision to go alone.
  11. Extremely sorrowful. We engaged in very risky behaviour at Scout camps. The incidents mostly revolved around fire, heights, axes, knives, and motorcycles, sometimes with the assistance of alcohol and pyrotechnics.
  12. Is an inspection/diagnostic cost charged? If the issue is covered by the warranty, will the price be refunded? Since the issue (fuse) was not covered by the warranty, you are responsible for the expense.
  13. Typically, approved used warranties are rather extensive. The steering column may need attention, and the headlights could need some maintenance. However, it is uncertain if the weather seals will experience cracking.
  14. Visiting a nearby dealership is a viable choice, but they will impose a diagnostic cost for their services. However, if it is determined that the issue is covered by warranty, you will be exempted from paying the money.
  15. I suspect that the reader you used may not be honest. Consider contacting the vendor from whom you made the purchase and see if they would be willing to do an ISTA scan to get the diagnostic information.
  16. The car is intended for the Mrs, who typically covers a distance of around 12,000 miles per year. Approximately 70% of the driving takes place in urban areas, while the remaining portion occurs on highways. She need just heated seats and phone connection. Is the Mercland warranty self-underwritten or underwritten by a third party?
  17. Thank you for the responses, everyone. Has there been a certain year when the adblue issues were resolved on the E350 vehicles? Did the difficulties occur in all variants? Would choosing an E220 model prevent encountering these problems?
  18. I purchased the item from a nearby vendor that has a favourable reputation on this platform. I would want to ensure that there are no possible significant expenses in the horizon. If anybody can provide advice, please do so. The price of the 2012 E350 is £9,490. https://www.mercland.com/vehicle/mercedes-e350-sport-cdi-blueefficiency-ss-auto-in-nuneaton-warwickshire-19b39144-1eea-4a1f-a504-b108012d8d1d The price of the 2015 E350 is £12,990. https://www.mercland.com/vehicle/mercedes-e350-amg-night-edition-premium-bluetec-auto-in-nuneaton-warwickshire-3908ebb5-61e1-43fe-ac84-b0c801251180
  19. As of 2023, I just purchased a set of brand new R129 wings from Mercedes. Each wing cost £474.30, resulting in a total of £1138.32 for the pair, including VAT. Exercise caution while dealing with EBay; I recently came across a listing for a used set of wings that had signs of damage such as scratches, bends, and corrosion. The asking price for these wings was £800.00.
  20. Initiate a gradual charging process initially.
  21. Stay physically active without the need for programming or other technical skills.
  22. The stereo I just acquired has comprehensive wireless carplay and Android Auto integration. Consequently, I no longer need visual access to my phone screen while driving, since all relevant information is conveniently shown on the stereo screen.
  23. Thank you! Similarly, I too contemplated this matter - the cubby seemed to be a favourable concept, although I encountered two concerns with it: 1. Inserting and removing your phone from the slot may be a challenge, especially when reaching behind your shoulder. To ensure proper charging on the pad, it is necessary to discover a method to position the phone accurately in the designated area, considering that the cubby is much bigger than the phone. 2. You would need to devise a method to secure the phone in a stationary position to prevent it from moving. There are clearly methods to resolve this. 3. There would be plenty more slot capacity, since your phone would use just a certain amount of space. I was unable to determine further items that I could include in order to fully use the available space. Please provide me with updates about the progress and outcome of your situation.
