If your tires have directional tread, ensure to revert them after the test. 👍
-
They have a lifespan of around 10 years; hence, a 2015 vehicle will evidently need replacements at this time. Testing them is not feasible; a code reader only provides a static voltage, which does not reflect battery life. Exchange your front wheels and observe whether the issue transfers to the front right. Verify and adjust tire pressure, then reset the TPMS monitor. Drive for several miles and assess the outcome.

The intercooler pipe is likely fractured in the top section, which is not visible; if this is the case, you may be experiencing a loss of power due to a boost leak.

Drain plug for the W219 OM642 engine block
AmericaMonster replied to NameInterest's topic in General
Indeed. Are you enquiring whether there is a certain plug on the block? I would presume that it is not the case and would choose for the lower coolant pipe, as you said. -
Drain plug for the W219 OM642 engine block

If it resembles the E350 OM642, it is located in the lower section of the radiator. Twist and partly extract to facilitate the drainage of coolant via the stopper. -
Troubleshooting the headlights for the 2020 W205 model.

It's unfortunate in a sense that it isn't financed, as that would provide you with some extra leverage. It is to be hoped that MB will act with integrity. 👍 -

The investigative charge can be limited by you, and in this case, I would have preferred a conclusive opinion from MB rather than your independent source, who cannot accurately predict what the outcome with MB might have been. If that headlamp shows no signs of damage, it indicates a clear manufacturing defect. Is the vehicle under a lease or financing arrangement? -
Troubleshooting the headlights for the 2020 W205 model.

It seems you were hesitant to invest ÂŁ175 (or perhaps even less) on a diagnostic fee, which, had the headlamp not been damaged, likely would have led to some goodwill shortly after the warranty expired. Now, however, you find yourself ÂŁ350 in and still no closer to a resolution? -

How many miles or months past the warranty is the car? If there was no accident damage, why didn't you request a goodwill contribution from MB? Regarding the replacement. Is the part number identical to the original? If that’s not the case, it might not be compatible, or, if you’re fortunate, it could require some coding. -
P13E7FD AdBlue level is insufficient - Unable to assess fluid level
AmericaMonster replied to Carishme's topic in General
Disregarding the merits of the AdBlue Delete, you might address the existing issue with the AdBlue level sensor by substituting the AdBlue tank with a pre-owned unit from eBay. However, AdBlue complications are typically recurrent and expensive to rectify; I recommend repairing the vehicle rather than trading it in prior to the emergence of another AdBlue problem. It is unfortunate, since these vehicles are otherwise exceptional. -
Every 6,000 miles or 12 months, the vehicle had servicing, so I presume it is in good condition. The pipes and air filter were inspected by my father during the car's examination. Consequently, it is quite perplexing.

I have just acquired a meticulously maintained e250 CDI w212 Blue Efficiency estate to replace my c200 CDI Blue Efficiency w204, as we are anticipating the arrival of our third kid and want a larger vehicle. My father, a technician with over 40 years of experience, and I examined the vehicle and identified that the only issue was the significantly increased engine noise during acceleration compared to my previous C200 CDI. The engine had a pronounced grumble during acceleration. Is this typical? Aside from the loudness, the engine performs well and accelerates powerfully. Additionally, all sound deadening materials are intact.

Indeed, possessing a decade of technological superiority in battery production over the West, coupled with far lower manufacturing costs, has proven to be a considerable benefit. While expediting market entry is advantageous. While it is simple to advocate for 'building a wall', seeing China's cities brimming with advanced battery-powered buses prompts the question, 'Why should we exclude ourselves from such progress?'

R48 indicates that the sensor in your thermostat is defective.
-
Has any recent work been done on it? Is there a record of fuel filter replacement? Have you inspected the gasoline at the filter by cycling the ignition?
-
I presumed such, but other specifics were lacking, so it is prudent to seek clarification.
-
Petrol or Diesel? R48 seems to function as a temperature sensor inside the thermostat. If this fails, the ECU may be unable to determine the appropriate values, however I would have expected it to still start.
-
Fuel type: Petrol or Diesel; what is the vehicle's mileage? The manual will indicate the position of the fuses. Has any maintenance been performed on the vehicle previous to the starting issue? Preliminary considerations suggest insufficient fuel pressure; nonetheless, it is essential to conduct a diagnostic scan for fault codes. Can you arrange for it to be retrieved to a garage? If it was serviced by Mercedes in the last year, you will own Mobilo breakdown coverage.

They produced several units of these; they are almost identical to the 2.0 in all respects, with a standard 8v M102 engine.
-
Engage the gear and provide a forceful push, shifting it slightly forward before attempting to start the engine again (out of gear, of course!).
-
Ensure that the selector transitions into the park position correctly before initiating the start, if it is automated. Perhaps consider posting a little video clip? 🙂

V220 air conditioning leak located below the dashboard.
AmericaMonster replied to VibrantShin's topic in General
Have you seen the "similar threads" about the Viano/Vito that are just under this one? They discuss an air conditioning line delivering refrigerant to the evaporator under the fuse box and issues arising from a retaining clip. To what extent do you engage in do-it-yourself activities? Could you allocate around thirty minutes to disassemble and inspect? The skill level seems to be rather basic, and the tools required seem to be minimum. -
V220 air conditioning leak located below the dashboard.
AmericaMonster replied to VibrantShin's topic in General
Mercedes air conditioning The evaporator in the dashboard emits a hissing death rattle sound when the gas pressure diminishes. If the noise is really this, it may not indicate a problem with the dashboard, which would be advantageous. -
