Without the tune, it will be impossible to accommodate the blower and operate it. What is preventing you from sending the ECU to ESS? Place it inside the box and send it via expedited shipping. The item will return before you finish fastening all the components together. Installing a supercharger will not pose any difficulties for those who possess technical and mechanical aptitude. Most likely a task that can be completed within one or two days. My first consideration would be the level of assistance provided. I have just paid a significant amount of money, around 6-7 thousand pounds plus value-added tax on import. My supplier is located in a different country, namely across the Atlantic Ocean, and there is a time difference of 7 hours between us (referring to the headquarters of ESS). On the contrary, MSL/Weistec is located in Birmingham. Is the cost savings significant compared to the Weistec kit? The decision is yours to make.

The headrest of the R129 is loose and lacks firmness.
AmericaMonster replied to Banman's topic in General
Although it sometimes flops forward, my head typically prevents it from becoming a major concern. I seem to be preoccupied with the demands of daily existence, as well as maintaining relationships with my loved ones and social circle. I get pleasure from driving the SL, thus I do not like it to be constantly disassembled. Last year, the sun caused the adhesive on a door card to deteriorate. I still need to address this issue, but I plan to do it during a week when the weather is great and dry, and I have some free time. -

Currently, I have not yet found a suitable opportunity to disassemble it. I used a significant force to move it back towards the part that provides support and houses the seat belt, and it is securely fastened. To reach the nut, it is necessary to remove the headrest cover. There is a hole beneath that serves as a fastening point. Evidently, it easily glides off and then reattaches, odd... -

I understand your perspective. I plan to disassemble my seat at some time in order to investigate the cause. It is likely that the issue is caused by a loose nut or a little repair. It should take around a morning's worth of effort to disassemble and fix it, which can be done in a matter of seconds. Let's hope for the best. -
2015 Sprinter vehicle with a 2.1 311 cdi engine and 270,000 km. Thank you for responding.

What further desires do you have? The engine in question is equipped with a Euro 5 emission standard and was manufactured in 2015. I have seen the presence of oil on the surface of the injectors and I am seeking guidance or recommendations on how to address this issue.

The Auro 5 engine has a displacement of 2.1 litres and produces 311 horsepower.

During a routine inspection before to a lengthy journey, I saw a significant accumulation of oil on the surface of the injectors. Is this a matter of great importance or significance? The Auro 5 engine was manufactured in 2015.

What is the temperature shown by the thermostat when it has reached its maximum operating temperature? The temperature should range from around 88 to 90 degrees Celsius. Are you obtaining the fuel consumption data from the vehicle's onboard computer or from a complete fill-up of the gasoline tank? Additionally, have you reset the fuel consumption reading?

The battery is commendable. Furthermore, it is advisable to refrain from disclosing your postcode on the forum.

There is a fault with the Parktronic PTS system in the W208.
AmericaMonster replied to Dudeta's topic in General
The Parktronic System (PTS) is causing significant inconvenience on my W204 Mercedes. The diagnostic report indicates that the issue lies with the white PST module located under the passenger footwell. I have already replaced this module twice, but the problem persists. Therefore, I will need to inspect the wiring harness and sensors to identify any potential faults. The same issue is also present in my W208. -

Did you ultimately resolve the problem? -
Ensure that the sensor attached to one of the bonnet locks at the front is securely fastened, and if necessary, replace it.

The W211 e220 CDI injector plug is being referred to.
AmericaMonster replied to Mututing's topic in General
Indeed, it is necessary to connect the appropriate wire to the corresponding side of the connector. Examining the other injectors may provide insight into if the wire has already severed from the socket. -

Yes, you will be able to get replacement terminals and plug connections directly from Mercedes. The cost will not be high. However, I do not own any numerical data on it. -
Although it may not be the cause, this is a rather simple do-it-yourself task. Typically, it is located beneath a metal cover positioned behind the LH wheelarch liner. In the case of a left-hand drive automobile, it may be on the RH side. The device lacks a fuse, and disconnecting the battery will not resolve the issue, since it operates on its own internal batteries, which are often the source of the problem at this stage of its lifespan. Although it is uncertain if this is the cause of the problem, I am hopeful that it is, since it can be easily resolved. Best wishes for success 👍

Have you received a quotation from WBAC or Motorway / Car Wow? The estimated scrap value ranges from around £200 to £250, as I would anticipate. What are the current prices of items being sold on eBay? What is the optimal price that AT is offering for it? Do you have a preference for interacting with the broader public, including those who may be interested in purchasing this automobile at its current price point, considering that it is not intended as a first car for a son or daughter? Additionally, how urgently do you need to replace your current car? Are there any specific life circumstances or compelling reasons that need a prompt change? While it undoubtedly has its merits in terms of sound quality and performance, this vehicle does have some drawbacks. It tends to use a quite large amount of fuel, and the tax expenses associated with it are not the most affordable. Additionally, it is starting to show signs of ageing, which may limit the level of local interest if you decide to sell it independently.

I am always sceptical when many sensors simultaneously indicate issues. Conduct a test to see whether there is any element, such as a connection, that might potentially result in several failures occurring at the same time.

Based on my inference, it seems that it requires recharging with petrol. -
Battery Failure (Rejuvenation) on 2004 CLK 320
AmericaMonster replied to CleverPixel's topic in General
It seems that you have a non-functioning cell. You may remove the caps from the top to see whether there has been any water loss. If you own distilled water, you have the option to include it. Once the water level is appropriate, reseal the cap and transport the battery to the closest automotive shop for recycling and purchase a replacement. -
I just connect the phone to either the USB port located in the glove box or the one at the rear of the headunit, or alternatively, one of the USB ports in the boot.
