  2. My TPMS indicates a pressure marginally higher than the observed value. On both my Jaguar and my Mercedes. There is a minor discrepancy in tyre pressure monitoring system readings from side to side on the Mercedes, although it is negligible. The system is engineered to identify pressure drops due to leaks and performs effectively in this capacity. I depend on the precise pressure recorded at the valve stem for accuracy.
  3. My TPMS is quite precise when compared to other pressure measurement devices.
  4. The tires are new; however, I am unsure of the age of the TPMS valves.
  5. The tires are new; however, I am uncertain about the age of the TPMS valves.
  6. The date is inscribed on the tyre; if it is 10 years old, I would replace it. Tyre manufactures propose a maximum lifespan of 7 years. This frigid weather also lowers the measurements.
  7. That seems accurate, considering they are 2 PSI off and maybe 10 years old, unless a prior owner has replaced them. Both my digital tire pump and pressure gauge said that the tire was at 32 PSI; but, without a reference quantity, the accuracy remains uncertain. All readings were conducted within a 15-minute interval, thereby eliminating any potential discrepancies related to time and temperature.
  8. I question the advisability of depending on an accuracy beyond +/- 2.5% (about 1.7 psi range), as these measurements are likely to deviate over time due to ageing. Furthermore, in the absence of a zeroing system in the vehicle, inaccuracies are probable, and factors such as ambient temperature and pressure may also exert an influence. What is the accuracy of your setup device?
  9. I received a TPMS alert over the weekend due to one of my tires being slightly underinflated. The reading was 28 instead of 32. I restored the pressure to the prescribed level and inflated the other three tyres; however, the display now indicates a pressure of 34, and all tyres appear overinflated while being accurate when tested at the valve. The tyres were inflated when cold, and the vehicle was not operated at any time between measurements. Is this deemed typical? It is not a significant matter; I would merely be interested in knowing for future reference.
  10. Unrelated to the warranty company. If the dealer seeks to make a claim, that is advantageous; however, if the warranty provider does not provide coverage, the financial responsibility falls to the dealer. There is no necessity to employ legal personnel. Inform them that you seek a repair in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Schedule a time...do not take it until repaired...or get a refund.
  11. At this juncture, I believe it is unnecessary to adopt a combative stance. Allow the dealer the opportunity to astonish you. He will be well informed of the SOGA exposure he possesses. Best of luck, and kindly inform us of the outcome.
  12. As a dealer, I own a written warranty and am uncertain whether the issue lies with the seller or the warranty organisation. I have reviewed the fine print; chairs are not excluded, although headlamp bulbs are. However, my lights function but do not swivel, so I am uncertain if that is included. I will call them tomorrow; I suspect the garage is evading my enquiries. I am uncertain about how to enforce the Sale of Goods Act, as solicitors are costly and the process is protracted.
  13. Indeed, the scanner displays an error indicating that the motor is obstructed or something like.
  14. Did you purchase from a dealer rather than an individual? If this is the case, the Consumer Rights Act entitles you to return the vehicle to the dealer for repairs. You own this entitlement for any issues identified within six months from the date of purchase. The dealer is responsible for resolving this issue; it is his concern, not yours. While I believe this to be the case, I must verify; however, within 30 days of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund upon returning the vehicle—though I suspect you may not like to pursue this course of action about this matter.
  15. Regarding the lights, if you have not yet done so, it is advisable to verify that the vehicle is configured for 'left-hand traffic' in the onboard menu. If configured for right-hand traffic, the ILS will be inoperative.
  16. I am experiencing a problem with my SL400, which I purchased three weeks ago. The lumbar section of the seat fails to inflate, as confirmed by my reader. The bolsters inflate and deflate, and the massaging function operates as well. The passenger side is in satisfactory condition. Uncertain how the massage can function unless it employs an alternative bladder. If the bladder is perforated, the seat would likely not retain air until it is compartmentalised. It appears to be a costly task including the removal of the seat and disassembly. I own a warranty but lack MD, so I am uncertain regarding this claim and am awaiting a response. Additionally, the cornering headlamps do not pivot as intended. It is not a significant issue, but I purchased the vehicle due to its specifications. United Kingdom Do you have any opinions?

  18. I have created a synthetic audio recording. The loudness must be increased! I would appreciate your insights. Droning Noise in BMW 435i
  19. I once experienced a sticky rear calliper that emitted a sound like of a Chinook helicopter trailing behind me, prompting me to search for one humorously.
  20. Verifying binding brakes is straightforward; after a drive, assess whether any wheels exhibit higher temperatures than the others. I have had analogous noise when the handbrake shoes were binding.
  21. Salutations. I will attempt to record the sound and upload it. It is situated in the lower end of the spectrum. Appears to be more related to the engine or drivetrain. Recently changed the gearbox oil, although there has been no alteration in the sound.
  22. It may be prudent to elevate the vehicle on a ramp to inspect the wheel bearing.
  23. At speeds beyond 60 mph, I perceive a pulsating drone when cruising. It almost appears that the vehicle is in an excessively high gear. Approximately 2000 revolutions per minute. The sound evokes memories of the enormous freezers found in supermarkets that operate with a persistent hum. It is not overwhelming, yet it is perceptible. I have created a sound recording that resembles the noise in the car (please increase the volume): Droning Noise in BMW 435i It would be beneficial to ascertain whether this is their inherent nature. Salutations
  24. I will examine it tomorrow. SUBSEQUENTLY. I have confirmed that it is available in three sizes. I will make a decision tomorrow.
