Upon examining some of my old engine photographs, it appears that the issue may be located in the middle of the right-hand manifold, a few inches to the right of the fuel filter when viewed from the front of the engine.

On my previous E320 CDI, I believe it is located on or adjacent to the right-hand air filter box when viewed from the front of the vehicle.

During a trip, the vehicle ceased functioning three minutes in, first at 160 km/h, then at 130 km/h, followed by 100 km/h, ultimately continuing until it failed to restart, necessitating a tow home. After clearing the problem codes, the device started without issue. However, it idled for three minutes before shutting down and subsequently failed to restart, either cranking without ignition or occasionally starting briefly before shutting off again.
