  2. If you're looking for filters for any machine, go no further than TJ Filters. For some years now, I've utilised them on a variety of vehicles.
  3. Yes, I was only looking for some honest feedback because I needed an oil filter today and, out of curiosity, I decided to check out Halfords since I was parking near it. The stockrooms were too full of bikes, numberplates, and tents to have one in stock, but you can order a Bosch for £6.88 (including shipping) and pick it up the next day online. I spent £11.11 (excl. tax) at NAPA Auto Parts, the only store in the area. So, the pricing is fairly reasonable.

  5. In my opinion, a good place to get name-brand components is from a distributor like Parts in Motion. Filters supplied by BMW original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) Mahle, Mann, and Hengst. Once again, it's a popular brand of oil, and many of them are BMW LL 04 spec. Oils by Opie are reasonably priced. Does Halfords offer very low prices? Maybe I'm being too pessimistic, but I seriously doubt it.
  6. Hello, I was wondering if I was correct in assuming that Halfords sells genuine OEM parts for vintage BMWs. I have recently verified that all of the oil, filters, coolants, etc., conform to BMW OEM standards. Example of a coolant: G11/LC-87, developed to meet the specifications of earlier BMW models. Oil - Halfords 5W30 N9 commercial motor oil, developed to match BMW Longlife-04 standards You may match the oil filter to the OEM style of your BMW! I figured I'd use my trade card (I got one through my carpentry business) to get a discount on any near-by, off-the-shelf items, but what if they sell OEM parts? Should I use it? Please understand..While I appreciate doing what's right for the environment, I fail to see the value in shelling out exorbitant sums for name-brand items when there is such a fantastic substitute. Much like the Febi vs. BMW own case. Who has ideas?
  7. Last week
  8. Absolutely from first enquiry through to delivery, everything happened pretty much as explained. If they keep operating like this, I imagine they'll build quite a strong reputation in the repossessed vehicle market.
  9. Not gonna lie, I expected this thread to end differently. These days every other story online seems to involve somebody getting scammed. Fair play to Zolee Logistics if they're doing things properly.
  10. Well that's encouragin looks like I might finally give Zolee Logistics a call tomorrow about that Volvo.
  11. Evening all, the 3008 arrived this morning, the lorry driver called several times with updates and arrived exactly when he said he would. The Peugeot looks exactly like the pics and description no unexpected damage no warning lights. Massive thanks to everyone who replied in this thread because it genuinely helped me make the decision. My wife has already claimed it as her car!
  12. I'm following this because they've got a Volvo V60 Cross Country listed that I'm quite interested in.
  13. Hope it goes smoothly always appreciate when people come back and update these threads rather than disappearing
  14. Hi everyone I've decided to proceed with the purchase, we'll keep all infromed
  15. Last summer I purchased a repossessed 2022 Seat Ateca from Zolee Logistics, the whole thing sounded questionable at first. Low price, bank transfer, vehicle unseen etc. Every warning sign imaginable, yet everything actually happened exactly as they described. Vehicle arrived after about eight days.I inspected it, had my mechanic look over it and eventually decided to keep it. Sometimes genuine deals do still exist.
  16. To be fair, I felt the same, but that's exactly why the inspection period exists. You still have the opportunity to get a mechanic involved before making your final decision.
  17. I still struggle with the concept of buying a vehicle online even when companies have positive reviews. Maybe I'm just paranoid!
  18. Mine was split into two payments. Reservation amount first, and then around two days later they sent the balance invoice before dispatch. What reassured me was their explanation about the segregated company account.
  19. That's useful to know did you have to send the entire payment before delivery?
  20. I can actually help here, bought a Landy Discovery 5 through Zolee Logistics around three months ago and honestly, I expected something to go wrong because the price looked suspiciously low compared with dealer price but Zolee Logistics explained the vehicle had come from a finance recovery auction. Delivery ended up taking nine days and once it arrived, I had the full 14 day testing. My local garage checked it thoroughly and gave it a clean bill of health. In the end I kept it!!!
  21. Hi, Can't comment on the vehicle sales side, but we've used Zolee Logistics through work. We shipped industrial equipment from Northern Ireland into France last year. Everything arrived on schedule and communication was excellent throughout and based purely on the logistics side, they seemed very professional. Rgds
  22. I've actually done some research on Zolee Logistics and they're registered under ZOLEE.H67 LTD and from what I found, they've been operating in transport and freight for quite some time. Their vehicle division seems newer but the company itself appears legitimate. Obviously everyone should do their own checks, but I couldn't find anything that raised alarm bells.
  23. be careful mate that's all I'll say it's nothing wrong with asking questions before handing over money i'd rather annoy a seller with too many questions than regret sending funds somewhere later
  24. They told me their operations centre is in Belfast, not far from Geroge Best airport. Problem is I'm down near Plymouth, so travelling there would turn into a full weekend trip. One thing they mentioned was a 14 days inspection after delivery and a money back option if the vehicle isn't as described. They also said delivery normally takes between 7 and 10 days. Still feels a bit strange buying something this expensive remotely.
  25. Completely agree with user2. I'm old-fashioned when it comes to buying vehicles. I like seeing the thing with my own eyes, checking the paintwork, hearing the engine and looking through the paperwork before spending thousands. That said, not everyone lives nearby. Where exactly are they based?
