what has the price of diesel been at your local station?

Apparently, Australia has enough gas and diesel to last for 30 days. They claim that just 20% of our fuel originates from the Middle East, therefore there's no need to worry. Nobody appears eager to take on Donny's offer of shipping escorts for safety across Hormuz Strait, maybe because there is no guarantee. He has offered a fair fee.

Last week 196.9c (1.04 P), this week 205.9c (1.09 P). Not a huge increase for the first week, but adding 700 litres every four days adds another $100 AUD each week.

Actually, the head of the fuel sector in Australia was the one who advised against panic buying, and just a fifth of the supply comes from the Gulf. It leaped, much to everyone's surprise. For that reason, I brought up week 1.

Yesterday, my neighbourhood Asda was closed. People were shopping in a frenzy, apparently unable to cope with the extra £4. It probably cost them more to go fill up and endure the long lines. It was 1.39 without lead.I will add some Asda derv to the daily today; diesel was £1.48 and shell super was £1.55. I put a bit of both in because my M4 needs it.
