AmericaMonster
I am exploring possibilities for the front brake pads on a C63 W204. Endless pads are costly, and although the evaluations seem favourable, they are limited in number, especially with the C63. Does anybody has experience with them? Are they worth the investment, and how do they perform as a daily driver? (vehicle with low yearly mileage)
Ledgerciao
Greetings, I have used Endless Pads on my W204, and frankly, the performance is fantastic, particularly for dynamic driving. They are only substantial. However, for everyday usage and little miles, I would assert that high-quality OEM pads may provide superior value. Endless pads provide a luxurious experience and are compatible with rotors; yet, for routine urban or light use, they may be excessive.
AmericaMonster
Thank you for the comment. Every journey in a W204 is invigorating. Amusing. I do not need pads at now, but I am exploring options for when I do. Cost is not a consideration compared to the original equipment manufacturers. The original equipment manufacturers are not very economical either. Provided that they do not need heating prior to use, I am inclined to experiment with them. I want to avoid weak brakes till the discs are overheated. Are they suitable for frigid conditions?
BuffUpdate
Are Endless brake pads manufactured in the United States? Portersfield R4S is another excellent brand of pads, specifically designed for street racing. Exceedingly clean rims devoid of dust and very compatible with rotors. This is a pad manufactured in the United States. A UK branch sells these imported pads; I purchased a set before to Brexit and incurred no tariffs. No, it is all subpar due to the additional costs associated with tariffs.
AmericaMonster
I heard that endless are manufactured in Japan. I have never encountered the term "portersfield."

Finestey
A buddy upgraded to Endless pads (ME20) on his GTS while monitoring it and saw a significant improvement compared to the factory pads. He further updated to the Endless brake fluid. He said that they are quite noisy in the vicinity.
AmericaMonster
I believe I have provoked destiny. I did not anticipate needing brake pads soon, as I recently acquired the C63 507 this week, and they were inspected in November during a service—having covered very few miles since then. However, a brake pad warning light illuminated today. Upon inspection of the outer sides, the front pads appear satisfactory, but the rear outer pads seem to be nearing depletion, which is somewhat frustrating. Are the worn strips on the pads susceptible to damage? It is not always on. The light was out again while my wife was shopping. Later in the day, the same indicator illuminated on the dashboard. She collected the children 20 minutes later and returned to the vehicle. The light has extinguished. Can they be sporadic when they first activate on the disc? - When do they arrive at 3mm left - 4mm? Whether it is a sensor issue or the brake pads have reached their maximum, the dealer who sold me the vehicle said they would cover the costs, so I am not very concerned; nonetheless, I may need rear brake pads imminently. Thank you.
LimeLing
When do they arrive at 3mm left - 4mm? The compatibility may vary based on the pads; I have installed Akebono carbon ceramic pads on my C55 AMG, and the front pads provide two options for sensor insertion. One is definitely nearer to the disc than the other. Track or road, I presume.
