Require assistance in choosing between a 2008 V8 gated manual gearbox vehicle and a 2015 V8 gated manual gearbox vehicle, both with minimal mileage.

I would much appreciate hearing opinions on the comparison between the 2008 V8 gated and the 2015 V8 gated, both of which have less than 20,000 miles. Which would provide higher value and resale potential in the future: a 2008 model with a facelift or a 2015 model, both from the United States?

The 2015 gated is a rare and mythical creature known as a unicorn... In 2015, they manufactured almost no limited-access automobiles. If you manage to get one, it is quite probable that its value will remain stable indefinitely.

I own a 2015 V8 vehicle with a gated manual gearbox, which is one of just 56 V8 vehicles with manual gearbox produced that year.

For the above reasons, I would choose the 2015 model over the 2008 model.

Advantages: The presence of a face lift and complete LED headlights. Upgraded rear lights. Adding those components alone would incur a cost of $15,000 if you want the appearance of a facelift. Replace the twin exhaust tips on each side with a single exhaust tip. Additional reinforcement and bracing have been added to the front end. Additionally, there is the option of obtaining a fidelity warranty.

I was considering other properties with gated access, all from the year 2009, priced at $75,000 on average, and with an average mileage of roughly 35,000. However, I came across the one I ultimately purchased, which was listed for $89,000. The vehicle had just one owner and had been driven for a total of 11,000 kilometres. The decision to purchase it was obvious and required no more consideration. It was in late 2018 when I purchased my R8.

Although you did not specify the price discrepancy between the two options, if the difference is under $30,000, I would recommend choosing the 2015 model. In addition to the aforementioned factors, it is worth noting that the automobile in question is just 7 years old, which implies that it is relatively young and is likely to have less problems.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that the issue of frame breaking is really genuine and was not addressed by the manufacturer until the year 2010 or later.

I am intrigued by the question. What is the rationale for seeing 2008 as a superior option?

A 2008 vehicle with 20,000 kilometres, which has restricted access, would have an approximate value of $70,000 to $75,000.
A 2015 vehicle with 20,000 kilometres would have an approximate value of $100,000 to $110,000.

However, if financial considerations are not an issue, it is recommended to choose the 2015 option.

Upon reaching a price point of $110k, you will be faced with the ongoing and never-ending discussion on which version of the R8 to choose. At this price, you will have access to the exclusive 2012 V10 model, as well as the 2014-15 S-Tronic V10 variant.

Ultimately, your decision on the automobile will depend on your own objectives and budgetary preferences.

Yes, I strongly support the year 2015. These items are uncommon, sophisticated, and will have a higher resale value in the future. Extended warranty coverage for the '15 includes repairs that are approved at all Audi dealerships or licenced independents nationwide.
