Immediately after repainting a vehicle, it is not possible to apply ceramic coating or paint protection film (PPF). It is necessary to wait for a few weeks for the fresh paint to fully dry and complete the process of offgassing. In my opinion, a minimum of one month would suffice, while a period of 6 to 8 weeks would be more preferable. It is advisable to refrain from driving the automobile while it is undergoing the curing process. If you want to apply paint protection film (PPF), it is advisable to avoid damaging the fresh paint.
After the new paint has completely dried and hardened, it is advisable to have a skilled detailer do a thorough decontamination cleaning and, if necessary, a paint correction. Indeed, it is often necessary to rectify newly applied paint.
First, do the PPF (Paint Protection Film) application, and last, apply the ceramic coat.
