  1. I consistently deactivate mine. The last thing I desire is an additional caution light indicating a temperature of 3°C or below. I can resolve that independently.
  2. It is primarily a matter of inspecting for dampness, as a gradual leak such as yours will not produce a puddle; the heat exchanger facilitates evaporation. However, you should see either desiccated coolant or a moist area. If the leak were into the gear oil, the gearbox would exhibit malfunctions.

  6. Greetings, another first-generation Solara from British Columbia. 👌
  7. Why not transform it into a holiday and go to Cedar? Initiate a telephone conversation to assess their helpfulness. If they can repair it at a lower cost, the trip there is justified.
  8. It must be accurately diagnosed. In my opinion, do not consult a primary dealer, since they are not always well-informed and tend to be rather costly. Locate an independent expert. I have no affiliation with this business, but I have heard it is trustworthy. I cannot get how an airbag recall may impact the HV, but I am not an authority on the subject.
  9. The ES2 code is essential since it uniquely specifies the trim color. Exclusively located in the color footnote inside the EPC. If your dealer is unwilling to research it, consider seeking a another dealer.
  10. It is fairly usual for non-genuine parts to have difficulties in clearing codes. I replaced a coil due to a misfire, which resolved the issue, but I was unable to extinguish the warning light. Upon installing a genuine coil, the problem was rectified.
  11. This component is no longer available; you will need to contact several dismantlers to get a secondhand one.
  12. Furthermore, there is no indication that it has not been serviced beyond those dates elsewhere. Unless there is a second page from MB? The clue is in 2609 days.
