Although I had never had one before, I was attracted to the driving experience and want a vehicle with more ground clearance to navigate the often flooded roads in my vicinity near Blackpool. I eagerly anticipate receiving that troublesome item in the near future.

Are you satisfied with it?

I have chosen to document the final outcome in writing, allowing everyone to form their own opinions. In my analysis, I determined that, at a minimum, someone was being very frugal with the truth. I encountered a sudden and significant increase in the temperature of the coolant within a span of 5 minutes and 2 miles after starting the vehicle when it was still cold. When I was near MB Stratford, a dealership (now Sytners), I saw that it was conveniently located only 1.5 miles away and open on Saturday mornings. On the following Tuesday, I received information that the tests showed a malfunctioning thermostat, which would need £1.15k for both components and work. The exorbitant work fee was attributed to the fact that the thermostat is located deep inside the engine compartment, necessitating many hours of effort to complete the task. Additionally, the customer support representative informed me that the brakes and suspension components exhibited signs of wear. I was offered the opportunity to have these tasks completed as well. I am unable to recall the substantial amounts that were proposed. I declined and explicitly requested that just the specific error I had be rectified. After a span of 2 days, the process of disassembling the automobile began. I received a phone call notifying me that during the disassembly of components in the engine compartment to access the thermostat, it was found that engine oil was leaking from the crankcase breather tube near a sensor. I was presented with the partially disassembled engine in the parking lot, illuminated by a flashlight, since the automobile had been relocated off the premises. The recommended new components amount to £2,900, including a loom, harness, and ECU, among others. I refused. Upon careful consideration, I deduced that if this issue had been evident during the diagnostic phase, the electronic control unit (ECU) would have shown extra fault codes in a very noticeable manner. I coordinated the transportation of the automobile to an autonomous Mercedes specialised workshop located in East Sussex using a car trailer. In the new year, they examined the automobile and determined that the water pump was seized. They then proceeded to place an order for a replacement from Germany, since there were none available in Milton Keynes. The arrival was delayed. The whole invoice amounted to £0.7k, including the cost of work, which I promptly paid due to the considerable inconvenience of being without a vehicle for a duration of 6 weeks. I own the immobilised water pump in my vehicle and will be visiting MB Stratford first, followed by a visit to MB Milton Keynes. Their "diagnosis" was incorrect, and I am publicly identifying the dealership because of the negative feedback on their Google reviews. It is advisable to exercise caution before entrusting them with your vehicle.

Update: Components have been procured from Germany. Arriving on February 1st and departing on May 2nd, we will observe the events that unfold over the month. There are delays in the delivery of Christmas items and the restocking of MB products.

The thermostat is located below a pile of objects inside the engine compartment, as I was informed. The labour component of the repair was substantial, despite the fact that the thermostat alone costs less than £200. Additionally, the diagnostic fee amounted to £220. Rest assured, the automobile is now in the care of my trusted independent garage in East Sussex. The automobile was relocated yesterday due to my scepticism towards the information I was receiving. I will refrain from providing a comprehensive explanation at this moment. However, after the necessary repairs have been completed, I will subsequently provide the information.

It seems to be more than just a thermostat. It includes components such as a crank case breather tube, loom, oil, and ECU. I was requested to cover the expenses for the diagnostic procedure, and the vehicle would be reassembled at their expense and transported by trailer to my usual independent Mercedes service in East Sussex. They may be trusted to have a more pragmatic perspective on what really requires action or substitution. The current diagnostic indicates that there is oil present in the wiring harness, which is causing interference with the engine temperature sensor readings. This issue is not related to the engine overheating. Nevertheless, even if the amount is substantial, I find solace in the fact that it will be paid to a reliable individual rather than the random garage that happened to be nearby when the issue arose. I purchased the automobile for a total of £9.3k four years ago, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The current value is 202,000. Initially, MB Stratford provided a cost of £1k for the thermostat. Considering the inconvenience, time of the year, and other factors, I was willing to pay that amount. However, the extra £3k they had previously quoted was not included. Although the car's cost may still be high, it will be in motion prior to Christmas. I expect to experience pain, but I want to preserve the functionality of my limbs, hehe. Happy Christmas.

Improvement occurs. The SMS hyperlink they provided is now non-functional, displaying a 404 error page indicating that it cannot be located. The most recent SMS was delivered at 12:18, and by 14:23 it is no longer available (error 404). I have not received any phone calls in response to my attempts to contact them. I received a phone call at 0953, but I was unable to answer and no voicemail was left. I returned the call at 11.50, 11.53, and 12.08.

This is the impact that automation has had on our society. The vehicle is now located at the Mercedes dealership in Stratford, London. At 9:30 AM, I received an automatic email from my vehicle indicating that the coolant level was insufficient. This is due to the ongoing replacement of the car's thermostat, which requires draining the coolant. I need to schedule a workshop appointment, which is currently available. In addition, I received a missed call from them at 9.53am and after making three return calls, I was unable to speak to anybody beyond the receptionist. Considering the magnitude of the expense, it is insufficient. I am aware that they are now engaged in the process of repairing the automobile, since the car itself provided me with a useful notification. However, what is the purpose of their call? It is uncertain if the call is of significance or just an automated message about the email. I anticipate a stimulating discussion when I relocate to that location later today, provided that my phone call is not returned. Update: I have received a notification on my mobile device that includes a hyperlink to the current status of my car. The status information provided indicates that there is a booking in progress. No information on any ongoing work has been provided. I am experiencing a state of uncertainty or lack of clarity. The order specifies the inclusion of a VHC 20P5499723 diode in the alternator. It seems that I had to use their services for a safety recall last week. It is indeed a chaotic and disastrous situation.

Earlier today, the engine temperature rapidly increased to a dangerous level within around 3 minutes of driving. The cabin heater is not producing any airflow. Either thankfully or sadly, this incident took place within a 2-mile radius of the Stratford Synter franchise. I carefully monitored the vehicle's condition by driving it in increments of 0.2 miles to ensure that the temperature remained below the critical level. Subsequently, I scheduled an appointment for the automobile on Monday morning. I suspect that the issue is connected to the water pump, most likely due to either a pump failure or a malfunctioning valve that regulates the water circulation. I am apprehensive about the charge, but when considering the alternative of getting the vehicle from my independent mechanic 55 miles away, I have no choice but to accept the unpleasant reality. Convenience and time efficiency are important factors to consider. This is the first instance of encountering a failure to advance in a span of 4 years and 3 months in the S205. I kindly want your support and well wishes for my endeavours. 🙏🙏🙏

Significant advancement. Additionally, it is likely that you own various additional hoses, such as the one located underneath the metering head, which may have deteriorated. And the ones next to the idle control valve. Indeed, in all areas, including the gearbox, provided that it is an automated transmission. Please provide us with regular updates. I am still somewhat perplexed about the diagnostics port.

Ensure the complete eradication of any and all hoover leaks. It seems that my views are not relevant since I am unable to observe an EHA (Electronic Hydraulic Actuator) on the fuel distributor. It is possible that you do not own the Ke Jetronic system, but rather the K Jetronic system. I believed that all 124s would possess the Ke, yet it seems that this may not be the case. Any feedback or opinions from others? I will remain silent until further clues are presented. However, it is undesirable to have hoover leaks.

Have you acquired the plugs from MB? I inquire since some websites advocate the use of resistor plugs. While some argue that resistor plugs are adequate, I see no justification for installing anything other than the appropriate plugs that are still available from MB. Which electrical outlets did you install? Once you have confirmed that your HT system is functioning well, I would recommend doing a duty cycle check using the following method: Have you acquired the plugs from MB? I inquire since some websites advocate the usage of resistor plugs. While some argue that resistor plugs are adequate, I see no justification for installing anything other than the appropriate plugs that are still available from MB. Which electrical outlets did you install? Once you have confirmed that your HT system is functioning well, I would recommend doing a duty cycle check using the following method: It is advisable to expect a reading of 70% when switching on the device, with the engine not in operation. The temperature gradually stabilises at 50% while the engine is operating until it reaches around 70C. Subsequently, the duty cycle should fluctuate approximately at a 50% level. Approximately between the ages of 45 and 55. Alternative values suggest a malfunction or that the cowboys have been tampering with the screw located at the upper part of the gasoline distributor. Avoid the urge to make unnecessary adjustments until you are quite certain that all other sensors and settings are absolutely accurate. Can be a lengthy process. Please ensure to verify the precise figures for your engine. Those statistics belong to me. If you see a reading of 30% instead of 70%, it indicates that the probes of your metre should be interchanged. If you do not already own a duty cycle metre, I highly advise acquiring one. This diagnostic approach is very beneficial when used with the KE Jetronic system. I purchased a Fluke 17B+ and have been satisfied with the investment. Although it was not inexpensive, I had to discard two or three low-quality ones before investing in a higher-priced one. Now, I am able to appreciate the assurance it provides. If you avoid incurring a garage charge, you have effectively covered the cost of it. Additionally, I would want to emphasise the need of acquiring the whole high-tension (HT) system, including the coil and plugs, directly from the manufacturer, MB, if you are really committed to this automobile. The leads have a much improved fit, which instills a sense of assurance. During the last weekend, I used a little device to identify and measure electrical currents that were causing excessive power consumption. After acquiring the knowledge of using it for detecting low current and calibrating the metre to a neutral position, it verified that everything is in good condition. Once again, a sense of self-assurance. Happy hunting.

Could you please verify that the component shown in the image below corresponds to the whole hub assembly?

Antiquated vehicles equipped with carburetors or maybe a few with rudimentary fuel injection systems

The 14CUX(Classic), GEMS, and Thor engine management systems all have a restriction at around 5500 rpm. However, unlike the fireworks gadget, they reduce the fuel supply.
-
In fact, it is incorrect to say that I accomplished nothing. I conducted sporadic tests. Engaged in a certain gear, but operating at a low range.
-
I am certain that it is present, since my Classis has one (confirmed). I believe that one aspect of some modifications is to enable greater revolutions.

Audi has provided a 7-year guarantee with no mileage restriction for the hybrid problem. You will have enough coverage.

Here is a fascinating piece of information... simply to emphasize it!

If we subtract the tax differential, exclude the value-added tax (VAT), and account for the cost of transportation to the UK, what remains is the disparity between the prices of products manufactured in the USA and those manufactured in the USA for the UK market. -

What are the disparities in tax and value-added tax (VAT) between the United States and the United Kingdom?
