  1. Indeed, it is plausible that they may manipulate the spark ignition profile to get the desired effect. For instance, by increasing the fuel injection and delaying the spark timing, it is conceivable that the resulting late ignition could provide the distinctive crackling sound. To be honest, my seldom exhibits such behaviour.
  2. I believe that is accomplished via the ECU mapping. There is a complete absence of any mechanical device.
  3. How about considering the option of purchasing an M340i and a Fiat 500 Electric for the same price as an M3? (I apologise for the pun.)
  4. Indeed, my grin was consistently diminished each time I refuelled my E92 M3, even when the fuel price was at £1 per litre. I would consistently choose the M50 above any other option on a daily basis. You are correct about expenses; I spent a substantial amount of money on rear tyres.
  5. If you are selecting a battery-powered tool, choose for one with much more power than what is required, since they have a tendency to diminish in strength as the battery ages.
