  1. This is one of my favourite S courses, and you demonstrate exceptional care for it. I have a strong affinity for the Diamond white hue. Things may accumulate rapidly. I have not conducted a comprehensive computation about the total expenditure incurred for both of my S courses; nonetheless, I possess a preliminary understanding. Suppose I had the option to own an other luxurious vehicle, but I am not expressing dissatisfaction, since it is well acknowledged that these automobiles are costly to maintain.
  2. I own one of those devices, with a measured voltage of 12V on both central pins. Please refer to the image provided below. ??? Why is there a link between the SAM (represented by the transistor) and the 'FM filter' (also represented by the transistor), unless it is a switch?
  3. I did not want to dismantle the boot in order to reach the SAM today. I intended to do a task of lesser complexity. The mag mount DAB antenna should be positioned on an oven tray located on the rear seat, with a total of 85 stations reported. Additionally, a DIY centre loaded dipole should be placed in the A pillar trim. The dipole consists of a 345mm stripping of the coaxial cable, with the centre exposed and the copper material folded back. The lead undergoes two turns of 50mm precisely at the junction. The automobile is capable of detecting 95 stations. Indeed, the mag installation on the expansive steel roof performs much more well from an exterior perspective. The process of removing the A Pillar trim. Wow. The upper clip exhibits visibility and robustness, while the remaining two clips are concealed below the air bag and its firing canister, demonstrating exceptional strength. Crowbars are unnecessary for removing this. The provided loop aids in facilitating the execution of the task, but in a rather arbitrary manner. I have adjusted the metal clamps to reduce their firmness and reattached the fabric edge that was inadvertently adhered to the winscreen. The cars are constructed with robust construction, and the trim is designed to endure the impact of a train.
  4. Indeed, both devices were powered and verified with a multimeter. I am quite persuaded that the rear SAM deactivates the FM amplifier.
  5. Hello, I appreciate your prompt response! I verified the presence of the antenna power on the connection of the auxiliary head unit in the automobile, but it is nonexistent. In my vehicle, I own a mere two twisted pairs for the twin microphones. These pinouts are not the typical Comand 2.5 pinouts seen online, but they are specifically designed for the R class in WIS. I am using the head unit to provide power to a pair of FAKRA adaptors, since I believed that the FM amplifier obtained its power from the coaxial cable. That is not true. Indeed, the power outputs of the head unit ant and amp auxiliary are indeed 12V, as anticipated, when activated on the head unit side. It is quite likely that there is no traditional head unit power switch on the automobile side, and instead, the power is sent by CAN to the back SAM. The N10/8 connection activates the amplifier.
  6. Hello, the first question is somewhat technical. The year 2012 (R350CDI LWB W251). I am new to Mercedes, having been a Saabs for years. However, MBWorld, the platform I joined, seems to be hesitant in offering a mentor. I replaced the Comand 2.5 with a cost-effective Aliexpress Android head unit, which I found to be of high quality. All components are functioning well, with the exception of FM reception. I have identified an output (actuator) on the back SAM that seems to deactivate the antenna using a mechanism sometimes referred to as a 'antenna filter'. I believe it serves as both a power switch and a filter. Are the outputs of SAM characterised as open drain or open collector? Alternatively, are they combined? One potential interim solution may include the application of either 0V or 12V to the 'filter' pin3. Alternatively, it may be more accurate to use a CANBUS tool to force a SAM output. The GPS system is functioning well, but, I am uncertain about the power source for the component located on the top.
  7. I own a Spyder, which I believe is the same board, except it is situated in a different location. Based on the image you provided: The secondary air pump fuse is labelled as "A". (The shot only displays a portion of it) Relay 614 functions as the power supply relay for the Engine Control Module. 2- Unoccupied The relay with the number 373 is a kind of relay used for starting a device or system. Another starting relay option is the 4-partial covered relay. The relay with the number 373 is responsible for controlling the Secondary Air Injection Pump. Relay 614 is a power supply relay for the engine component. The automobile has vacancies on the 7th, 8th, and 9th positions. Hopefully, this information proves beneficial.
  8. Is the fuse/relay board situated on the rear bulkhead?

I am uncertain. If he is an automated programme, he responded with a reply. I recommend doing more study on this topic, since it is an excellent source of information.
  10. My spouse is visiting her son in a city known for barcodes this weekend. It's a little riverfront community with just one prominent football club that has high aspirations, unlike Norwich. Yesterday, she texted me while I was doing basic inspections on her Hyundai as I had promised to do while she was out. Her 'Bluelink' application, similar to KIA Connect, alerted her that her automobile was not secured. After I had moved a considerable distance from the vehicle, I read the message and was certain that I had locked it. However, I decided it was wise to double-check, since life would be unbearable if, heaven forbid, she came back to discover an empty garage! The vehicle was locked, but I checked each door handle, hood, and trunk opening to confirm. The 'Bluelink' feature, similar to 'KIA Connect,' has limited functionalities in non-electric vehicles but may send early alerts of potential criminal activity even when the car and owner are over 300 miles away. The automotive industry has been slow to adopt technology that has long been used in aeroplanes, yet we are now closer than ever to achieving autonomous automobiles. Considering the basic technology now available to engineers at leading automobile manufacturers, the possibilities are uncertain. 11. The VW Atlas is a three-row vehicle with one of the biggest interior spaces, whereas the Cross Sport is a two-row vehicle with a shorter body on a same size chassis. The Cross Sport has a revised rear to give it a dynamic flair and offers ample inside passenger and baggage room. Could this be a comparison between the CX70 and CX90?
  12. Thank you! Will the dealer automatically fix components such as the steering wheel, suspension, and prop shaft, or do you need to provide proof to the dealer? Are these concerns common and applicable to all automobiles manufactured in 2022-2023? According to the dealer, my automobile was manufactured in 2023, but the exact date is unknown to me. It was delivered in November 2023. Can I verify this with the VIN?
  13. I need to review these settings in order to record my journeys. I will be sure to record the percentages today when I park the vehicle. I have seen discussions about cars experiencing difficulties entering sleep mode, but it was apparently resolved by the most recent software update, which my dealer confirmed they had loaded before delivering the vehicle to me.
  14. Thank you, I will review the percentages today. I am reducing my time spent in traffic by departing earlier. I cover around 15 km in about 30 minutes on my journey. I am not use pre-heating, which I assume is activated via a mobile app. What is the most effective method to measure kilowatt-hour use for short trips? I only notice the average energy consumption shown on the right side of the driver's panel, indicating about 38-39 kW/h for every 100 km.
  15. Hello, Seeking guidance from more seasoned owners. I acquired my automobile two weeks ago and have drove it 500 km to date. I charge my automobile at the workplace upon my arrival to work. During the present winter conditions in the EU, my electric vehicle is achieving a maximum mileage of 35 km. My workplace is situated 15 kilometres away from my home. Upon reaching my parking space, I typically have around 20 kilometres of charge remaining. I will come at about 5pm. My issue is that the next morning, when I travel to work at approximately 8 am, I discover just 9-10km remaining instead of the expected 20 km. Is this typical throughout winter? The present nighttime temperature drops to about -2 degrees Celsius. Recently, there has been little drainage or just a few km, even during colder nights. It seems to be some arbitrary depletion. Should I reach out to my dealer or is this behaviour typical throughout winter? Thank you in advance
  16. The government's inflationary policies have allowed firms to take advantage of consumers. Their greed is excessive.
  17. I recommend changing the oil every 5,000 miles at most to prolong the lifespan of the valve/cam and timing chain, benefiting their internal mechanisms.
  18. RMK, located in Small Heath, Birmingham, has the capability to provide the OP with a new keyfob for their SL. http://www.replacementmercedeskeys.co.uk/contact-us/
  19. £3,500 The user expresses pain or discomfort. Discard it and get a late model c180 petrol 204.
  20. The issue was ultimately caused by the timing of the fuel pumps, which had become misaligned. After performing the necessary timing adjustment, the engine has been working reliably ever since.
  21. Very well, I will proceed to substitute the pump and filter and observe the outcome.
  22. The possibility of a battery issue has been eliminated. However, I have discovered an observation that may provide a clue in the correct direction. When recording the live data during a cold start, the fuel pressure on the rail reads 570kpa with the key on. After starting the engine and experiencing misfiring and a decrease in performance when accelerating, the fuel pressure only fluctuates between 530-600kpa. Furthermore, when I press the throttle, the fuel pressure drops down to 400kpa. Considering that fuel thickens when cold due to its oil-based nature, it is plausible that the issue lies with either the in-tank pump or the filter.
  23. That is an excellent suggestion. Thank you for sharing it. I will definitely use it.
