  1. Approach this information with scepticism. In my 2023 Model 3, equipped with a stalk, I have configured it to activate TACC with a single pull. Subsequently, a double pull for AP; I lack FSD. An option exists to modify it to a single pull to access AP. I personally prefer not to, as there are instances when TACC is more advantageous for me. The road is excessively winding for my preference, or for any other reason. However, if you possess FSD, I am uncertain how that would alter the single pull for TACC and the double pull for FSD.
  2. I apologise for my lack of knowledge, but have you not updated your software since 2023? What do you mean by not wanting to forfeit your double/single pull for EAP/FSD? Currently, in my 2023 Model 3. The initial draw activates cruise control, while the subsequent pull engages adaptive cruise control (AP). I have the choice in the menu to direct a single draw to AP, but I want the capability to use CC.
  3. The 3.0i was marketed as the 25i and 30i. Identical engine, although configured differently at the factory and equipped with a distinct intake manifold. The N52 utilised port injection and was regarded as highly reliable; nevertheless, it is ageing and requires numerous component replacements. The N53 was BMW's first direct injection engine and represented a significant advancement. Concerns include the NOx sensor, NOx catalytic converter, injectors, and high-pressure fuel pump. These are notorious for malfunctioning, and the repair costs can be substantial. I have observed individuals acquiring discount N53 vehicles, only to later lament on forums about engine misfiring, with mechanics stating that six new injectors are required. Conduct extensive research prior to making a purchase.
  4. I believed the N53 was exclusively offered in 25i and 30i variants. Both engines possess advantages and disadvantages.
  5. I own a 2016 2.0 CRDI manufactured in Korea and have now traveled 3400 kilometers. No discernible brake dust is present, and the brakes function well. No noise as delineated in your article. The Australian Kia models may vary from those manufactured in Slovakia.
  6. @Lemmand They only accept bank transfer now. They told me they had issues in the past with credit card chargebacks, so that’s why. But again, it’s to a business account held separate from their operational funds, so it’s as safe as it gets.
  7. Morning all, Earlier this year, I had a 2020 Mazda CX-30 delivered to my Birmingham location by Kismis Transport. The weather caused a slight holdup of a day or two in the haulage, but they called ahead to clarify. Everything was in order when the car arrived, including the papers. To tell you the truth, I was totally delighted.
  8. However, I discovered that they are not, since at that price point, they lack shockproof capabilities; the driver's door would be the first to deteriorate for obvious reasons.
  9. Indeed, both features may be operated without physical interaction with the screen. A button for Lane Keep Assist is located on the left side of the steering wheel. High Beam Assist may be activated or deactivated by drawing or pushing the headlight lever towards or away from oneself, if I recall correctly.
  10. The problem often indicates a blocked fuel filter; the only way to get a code from the vehicle is if the spanner icon appears on the display. If the icon intermittently appears while cycling the ignition, it is unlikely that any codes are saved. If it has not been altered recently, it may be the reason. As Mondy said, Forscan is absolutely the optimal choice. Significantly reduces expenses related to time and diagnostic fees to some degree.
  11. I am receiving a blank page from that URL.
  12. An advantageous website: http://webmanual.kia.com/STD_GEN5W/AVNT/EU/English/activatingradio.html
  13. You searched thoroughly... with the exception of the manual! 🙂
  14. While pressure leaking may suffice, my experience indicates that until the system undergoes diagnostics after being depleted, the brake pedal performance remains suboptimal.
  15. It follows a systematic procedure for purging the ABS system and valves. Essentially instructs you to apply pressure to the bleeder and then sequentially loosen one bleed nipple at a time while the ABS operates.
  16. If the system is totally emptied, a pressure bleeder must be used in conjunction with the ABS bleeding method in diagnostics.
  17. Enquire about the advantages that a software upgrade will bring to your £100.
  18. Indeed, it is an advantageous price! Enquire with MB about their pricing and they will provide confirmation.
  19. Indeed, I speculated that the issue may be related to emissions in the more recent A4 model as well. It also has the feature of automatic start-stop.
  20. Indeed, I ought to consult an expert. The dealer believes that the issue is within the typical range and not a cause for concern. I would want to ascertain if others had a similar experience or whether their vehicles remain in second gear during the whole journey. Particularly TDIs.
  21. Greetings, everyone. I own a 2019 A5 sportback 40 TDI. The vehicle is now at the dealership, where they have offered a 2022 A4 40 TFSI as a complimentary replacement car. After using it for a week, I discovered that it only moves down from 2nd gear to 1st gear when coming to a full stop. My auto engages in downshifting much in advance of that. When moving at around 1 km per hour or slower, the vehicle shifts into first gear. I operated the A4 vehicle at a very slow pace, and it only shifts to first gear when it comes to a full halt. Is there a malfunction in my A5 or do varied gear ratios determine whether some automobiles downshift before coming to a stop? My vehicle has accumulated a mileage of 25,000 kilometres, whereas the A4 has reached 32,000 km.
  22. Utilise diagnostic tools to monitor the level of particulate matter accumulation in the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). Once the DPF approaches its maximum capacity, go on an extended journey.
  23. Visit Veloce the Vault in San Diego. It is a facility designed for storing and housing high-performance luxury cars, as well as serving as a social gathering place. Members participate in rallies, cars and coffee events, and other activities. They may choose from several levels of membership. Additionally, there are also Fast Lane Drive members present who partake in very thrilling drives. This location is an excellent spot for socialising and spending time, particularly for those who have a strong interest in cars. I store my R8 in that location, which is really an invigorating environment. It is frequented by a variety of new exotics, classics, and super vehicles on a daily basis.
  24. I find it astonishing that the presence of your wife inside the vehicle, while it was locked, did not trigger the internal motion sensor alert that is activated when the car is secured outside. It is presumed that your automobile is equipped with an internal sensor, since you have not specified the make and model of your car.
