  1. We had issues with a Honda CRV and Autoglass, as they were unable to calibrate the screen. This resulted in many warning lights, causing the vehicle to fail its MoT and be inoperable. Ensure you locate a branch with a drive-in depot instead of a Portakabin situated in a supermarket parking park.
  2. I had the identical problem after locking the vehicle with the InControl app the previous night. The next day, I drove the vehicle, stopped, turned it off, and walked inside a shop. Returned to the vehicle and unlocked it by just bringing the fob close to the car and pressing the handle. Upon attempting to start, the system said that the key had been disabled. After exiting the vehicle, I locked it and attempted to use the key again, but it was disabled. The dealership confirmed that this is an issue. Guided me through the process of locking and unlocking using the app, and after many attempts, the key was reactivated.
  3. I lack knowledge about engines, thus I need assistance. Typically, my engine oil level remains at the maximum mark, sometimes dropping slightly below it, but returning to the maximum level after my next drive. I have heard of some of our vehicles experiencing oil consumption and leaks. I may have had a problem with the oil filter housing in the past, but I resolved it a while ago. Overall, I have not had any significant concerns with oil levels. Recently, I noticed that my oil level is now between the range of MIN and MAX, indicating a loss of oil due to either burning or a little leak. The technician advised adding 500ml if the level drops below MIN. I don't need an oil change soon, so what do you recommend? Do I need to use Liqui-Moly 5W40 specifically, or can I use any 5W40 oil? Is the process as straightforward as waiting for the engine to cool down, removing the cap, using a funnel, and pouring in the 500ml?
  4. Thank you, I will provide an update as soon as I get a response from the dealer.
  5. Furthermore, I would want to inquire about the extent of coverage provided by the "BMW Warranty" accompanying their used autos. What causes condensation to form within headlights? Are the door weather seals experiencing splitting? What is the purpose of the electric steering column?
  6. I purchased it from an authorised BMW dealership located in Southend-on-Sea, which is almost 3 hours away from my current location. I may consider consulting my nearby dealership to get their advice. In addition, I eliminated all the codes and just the SCR catalytic fault remained.
  7. Based on my assessment, everything seems to be functioning well. I would not have been aware of any issues if I had not connected the OBD11.
  8. Greetings, gentlemen. Over the weekend, I purchased a pre-owned, certified G30 520d BMW. Upon doing a scan with OBD11 after bringing it home, I discovered the presence of the following errors, specifically related to transport mode. For your information I will provide a snapshot of the fault codes after I have resolved the issue.
  9. Prior to reattaching it, ensure the new motor is functioning dependably if you want to disassemble it and install a replacement. You may secure it in a raised position and it will smoothly retract and extend much as if it were fastened to the column. The benefit is that, in the event of a malfunction, you can easily disconnect it, instead of spending four hours dealing with the hassle of unlocking the steering.
  10. Ensure that you detach it from the column at the minimum, before it entirely malfunctions. Extracting a thoroughly malfunctioning component is a very arduous task.
  11. According to reports, Skf kits are effective if Mercedes-Benz refuses to sell you the ring.
  12. They are not inserted forcefully. The racers in question need elimination. To properly maintain the bearings, it is recommended to get a little bottle of green grease from the manufacturer and apply it after replacing the ring. πŸ‘
  13. Indeed, I am aware that an alternative option would be to purchase a new hub, so circumventing the task at hand. πŸ‘ Aftermarket seal rings are incompatible with the pick up sensor. Mercedes-Benz dealers are purportedly selling the ring.
  14. The year 2007. It does not meet the requirements or standards.
  15. My sister has a beautiful diesel convertible. This vehicle has a low mileage, a fantastic maintenance record, and is in outstanding condition. The item will be available for purchase later this year.
  16. There is no issue with the K7. Simply reduce the pressure and use the appropriate nozzle. There is a vehicle symbol shown on the lance at the appropriate configuration.
  17. Expletive! I just made a significant expenditure on automotive litter.
