Indeed, the offer was reasonable. I was about to respond negatively, but I figured that was a reasonable price. Best regards.

I'm happy to help. You have my number in case anything comes up in the future; the auto insurance quote was decent.

What a squandering of your time and effort! Usually, you can find a plethora of repair parts and spares on eBay. Following your advice, I was going to switch to a manual gearbox and cancel my insurance. Plus, I'll keep the car for myself and get my daughter a bulletproof Honda Crv for the auto part. The problem is that there are no spares or repair parts for it anymore, so it's either going to the scrapyard or someone will be lucky enough to get it cheap from the insurance. The offer was made over the phone in $4,000. They never even came to see the vehicle. Good luck, Mike, and thank you for all the help you've given us over the past few years and for sharing your incredible knowledge with us all.

After all the engine work, it is such a waste.

Someone decided to slam into the side of the minivan, and the insurance company has written it off as a total loss.

I have no idea if this recall affected all Mazda dealerships in the country or just the one in Lincoln, Nebraska, but I did receive a letter informing me that replacement parts for the rear brakes are now available at my dealership.
-
This past Wednesday, I received mine.

I had mine done, and they even swapped out the right caliper—without even mentioning it. I found it on the receipt. Also successfully persuaded them to replace the tires at precisely 20,000. The factory tires were nearly useless. The tires wore out quickly due to the 85 percent of miles driven on highways. Unfortunately, I still had to pay for the Perilli's. Quiet and comfortable to ride in

Our '24 PHEV just had it serviced. Just the back brakes were changed. Their squeals have subsided. What was interesting was that we called a couple weeks after receiving the letter to get in queue for the service. The dealer in Southern Louisiana informed us that they are limited to ordering only one set of replacement pads per week. A few weeks had passed. Approximately four weeks later, I contacted the service center to enquire about our status. The representative informed me that, upon reviewing our records, he noticed a red flag from Mazda indicating that our factory warranty had expired in May. Despite having a full coverage extended warranty—we had purchased a dealer demo car—we were informed that this was the only way they would handle our situation. Before my wife finds out they won't cover it, I told him he needed to do whatever it took to get it done, like calling higher-ups or making some phone calls. Just a few minutes later, he returns the call and says they will charge Mazda for it. If Mazda doesn't pay, the dealer will honour it. A day later, he moved us up the waiting list and finally got us in. Much appreciation to Desmond in Lafayette. He exemplifies the ideal customer service representative a dealer could ask for.

They are scheduling owners in 10 phases; my car was in phase 9, but yesterday I asked the service center if they had the parts to replace it, and they said they did. I am picking it up today.

Changing the rear brake pads is all they do.

Has anyone yet to receive the letter from Mazda confirming the arrival of the brake parts? Time has been on my side since the latter half of May. I thought they were just going to swap out the back brakes and not the whole set?

very well "https: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XRvL5CwrlU" is the video you're currently being shown. At 08:32 There is a lot of back-and-forth mentioned regarding the tensioner.
-
I would make sure the vibration damper (crankpulley) isn't splitting or weakening if the movement is excessive, though some movement is normal
-
etc., but it does become easier after you get high. The dark pully beneath the arrowed one is likely the tensioner; I was wrong.
-
87k The red parts wobble around almost as if the tensioner were malfunctioning and working, releasing, and working, but the site won't let me upload the video.
-
In my opinion, that is not typical. What is the mileage on it?

After my son recently purchased a 116d LC1 with a B37 engine, I am now researching the known issues and becoming increasingly anxious. Upon first glance, I did not notice any signs of diesel dampness in the wiring loom; however, I will need to examine it more closely. My question is this: the tensioner and top right pully seem to be bouncing around constantly when the engine is idling. Once revved past 2000 rpm, it becomes more smooth. Is it the usual?

Thanks for the tip! I'm pretty sure I know what to look for in that area because I've owned the 55k before and am familiar with the engine.
