  3. For towing the grandkids and maybe even a small camper, I recently upgraded from a 2016 CX-5 to a 2026 CX-90. Here we are, at the halfway point. Although my wife mostly uses it, I'm looking forward to getting behind the wheel of this because I've always admired the CX-5's handling. Plus, it's incredibly roomy and has all the bells and whistles. Oh, how I adore you!
  4. The solution was found before me 👍.
  5. I tried removing and reinstalling the app after reading your response, and it seems to be functioning properly again.
  6. This is what I've been receiving for the past four days.
  7. Mine appears to be functioning properly, as I just checked.
  8. Amazon.co.uk : Land Rover remote app
  9. The server down message keeps popping up whenever I try to access my remote app since last Friday. I was hoping someone else was experiencing the same issue so I could confirm.
  10. Perfectly agreed. When it comes to hybrid battery management systems, Toyota makes what is arguably the best on the market.
  11. 2020 layout. Full bloom has never been visible to me. I'm fine with 50%. Just like a yo-yo, it will go up and down.
  12. The traction battery takes care of itself, so there's no need to fret if its charge level is around 50%. The number of times I've seen the traction battery show a full charge after going downhill for several miles nonstop has been more than I can count on one hand. I'm currently on my second CHR, having had both a first-gen and a second-gen model.
  13. Did you get a 1st or 2nd generation Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) with your C-HR? The battery indicator on my old 2008 Prius went up and down to show when it was fully charged (actually 80% SoC) and depleted (actually 40% SoC), but it rarely hit 100% unless I was going down a hill. What makes my plug-in hybrid electric vehicle stand out is the infotainment screen window that displays the hybrid system's operation and the battery life. I've never seen a window like it before, visually depicting the battery's charge status. I can view the 13.6 kWh traction battery's state of charge (SoC) on the instrument dashboard screen, but the infotainment screen only shows the power source or where the power is going. The battery graphic is still lacking in excitement since it doesn't reveal the traction battery's charge level. How it appears on a first- or second-generation C-HR HEV is something I am not familiar with. Unfortunately, I am unable to assist you further. My PHEV is still teaching me new things after nine months of use. Unfortunately, my job keeps me so busy that I rarely have time to sit in it with the manual or an iPad to learn more about it. It's like being a beeping Space Shuttle in that C-HR 2nd Gen cockpit/flight deck...
  14. Your response has nothing to do with my inquiry, in my opinion. As far as I can tell, the traction battery status indicator is stuck at 50%. Is it the usual?
  15. In a similar vein, I was requested to replace a 12v battery that, upon inspection, was found to contain two defective cells. This is the main reason why I always jumpstart my CHR.
  16. This 2023 CHR Excel is my wife's ride. The hybrid status display on the CHR only shows the orange sections of the hybrid battery for 3/4 of the battery. After 45 minutes of driving, the traction battery status remained unchanged. Is it typical to have a battery life of about 50%? Assist me, please.
  17. Today
  18. As has already been stated. To keep the engine running smoothly, though, I would recommend changing the oil every 6,000 to 7,000 miles, or once every twelve months if you plan to possess it for an extended period of time. Any vehicle I own is subject to that.
  19. It's fine with me if you can get by with just three engines. This service record is standard on most BMWs, especially ex-lease vehicles. You can get away with the wacky service interval for the first few years, but it won't work for the long haul. Obtaining an extended BMW warranty will spare you a great deal of trouble down the road, that's all I can say. That engine does not have a problem with the timing chain. As B38/48/58 age, they begin to leak at multiple points. However, a BMW warranty is worthwhile, and you should be good to go at that age.
  20. Both responses are greatly appreciated. On Friday, I will be visiting Sytner Cardiff to view and test drive it; I have not yet driven it. The three-cylinder rumble isn't going to deter me, I'm hoping. The huge intervals between services were my sole worry; I'd like to steer clear of timing chain horror stories, so I researched them. Is there anything else that people think I should keep in mind while I'm driving or viewing it?
