  2. The employee at Costco was misinformed when I purchased my Bosch battery, as he insisted that I required a stop-start battery, which was incorrect. The C-HR does not employ a starter motor like a traditional stop/start engine does, allowing for the installation of a standard lead-acid battery, similar to the factory-installed one, but with a greater amp-hour (Ah) rating.
  3. All the batteries listed by Euro Car Parts for my 2022 1.8 Excel indicate "not start-stop compatible." Could someone possibly provide guidance to the uninformed?
  4. I installed a 60Ah battery in my 2018 1.2 turbo months ago, and it has performed excellently.
  5. I believe the cells are identical for both engines; however, you may get the largest capacity battery that fits in the tray behind the hood.

  7. Do you possess the 1.8 or 2.0 litre variant? Any of these options should suffice.
  8. Greetings, everyone.I possess a 2019 Toyota CH-R vehicle. I typically encounter difficulties when initiating it. Which type of battery should I utilise to resolve this issue? Kindly recommend a battery model along with its capacity.
  9. Apologies, I should have mentioned that he stated the need to inspect the electrical system to see why the fuse has melted.
  10. The fuse box has finally arrived today. An automotive electrician stated the other day that it is necessary to do a check.
  11. Thank you, both wonderful members. Ewa was extremely anxious; I was in a dire situation, and the automobile seemed irreparable. I will address the fuse box issue. I am elated; thank you.
  12. According to OmahaKnot, the last two digits vary due to differing manufacture dates.
  13. It should be acceptable. I suspect the final digit is related to the month of manufacturing. When I search for part numbers, they typically consist of 8 digits comprised solely of numerals.
  14. I require the replacement of the engine compartment glove box for my Ford Focus Mark One. The model number is 98AG 14A076 A F. However, one listing on eBay differs by a single letter, concluding with a 'a.' eBay has stated that it is compatible. What are the opinions of forum members?

  16. Michelin Pilot Sport PS4 or Goodyear Asymmetric is my preference. I have installed them on both of my E63s and find them impeccable. Any option except Pirelli P Zero, however their new tyre seems to be well-received.
  17. +1 for Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 6 summer tires. Although I have just utilised them for approximately six months, their performance is commendable. Exhibits substantial traction, performs admirably in heavy rainfall, and is reportedly durable as well. Somewhat on the higher end regarding cost.
  18. Another endorsement for the Goodyear Asymmetric 6.
  19. Your friend Dave achieved a speed of 155 mph using inexpensive Chinese tires on the back and while carrying previous cargo?
  20. Thank you very much! I will certainly refrain from purchasing those Chinese tires. I do not desire conventional 'tank slappers'!
  21. We utilised ContiSport 5P tires on Angie’s SLK55, which exhibited excellent grip unless excessively challenged.
  22. I have installed Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tires on multiple vehicles over the past few years. Silent, comfortable, excellent wear rates, and superior traction in both dry and wet conditions.
  23. Simultaneous oversteer and understeer? Is that not more accurately described as lateral movement?
  24. Numerous advice from fellow users are available (also refer to the approximately three million other tyre threads on this forum). However, following an encounter over the weekend, I can definitively say "no" to the Chinese Autogreen tyres. A buddy recently acquired a pristine 318i coupe equipped with a set of these very pleasing tires, which are evidently brand new and installed to meet MOT requirements prior to sale at no cost. They are not outdated inventory, as they bear a date mark from late 2024. He is having them replaced this week. He visited and took me on a drive merely to demonstrate their poor performance. I have owned several Chinese tires; currently, my E350 CDI is equipped with a set of "Sunwide" rear tires, installed by the previous owner for the MOT. To be candid, I intended to replace them, but they are satisfactory.I anticipated his tires to be subpar yet acceptable for the price; nevertheless, that was not the case. Intimidating is the term; it was arid and refined. The formidable 318i engine could effortlessly surpass traction even at moderate cornering velocities, and at the very least, it provided ample auditory alerts before to losing control. They are, in fact, consistently audible. Those tires have endowed the car with the capability to experience simultaneous oversteer and understeer! The owner possesses considerable driving skill and enjoys the experience, having been well-instructed. However, a typical budget-conscious driver utilising these tires for family transportation could easily find themselves in a precarious situation, potentially ending up in a ditch. It is astonishing that these tires are available for sale. Unpleasant...avoid!
  25. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires on my 2019 E63S estate perform excellently, save for occasional skidding at low speeds on cold tires during winter. However, I also possess a set of winter tires that I switch to when this issue becomes excessive.
