  1. Past hour
  2. Didn't realise companies like Loughshore Logistics even existed :)
  3. I bought a 2022 Kia XCeed GT-Line from them last summer. I had the same concerns to begin with, so I spoke to my bank before sending any money. They explained how the transfer worked and that there'd be a full record of everything, which put my mind at ease. The car turned up just over a week later and I honestly couldn't fault it. It was exactly what I'd expected from the advert.
  4. That's exactly what I'd do it never hurts to be cautious and do your own due diligence especially when it's your hard earned money on the line
  5. Yes, they wanted payment before transport was arranged. Before I transferred anything I checked the company registration and looked through everything I could find online and even phoned them twice just to make sure I was dealing with real people.
  6. Same concern here, couple of years ago I nearly got caught by a fake Facebook Marketplace ad so I'm probably more cautious than most!
  7. Did you have to pay the full balance before they booked delivery? That's the bit I'd struggle with
  8. I bought a car about four months ago from them and I'll admit I wasn't convinced at first either but everything was explained step by step over the phone. Loughshore Logistics arranged delivery up to Liverpool and the car arrived 5 days later. I confirmed I was happy to keep it and that was the end of it.
  9. They are based in Belfast and I'm down in Plymouth, so popping over isn't really practical. They did say I could visit if I wanted, but they also offer nationwide delivery. What made me pause was the payment side apparently the money goes into a segregated company account and you get 14 days to inspect the vehicle once it's delivered. Sounds reassuring enough but sending that amount before seeing the car still feels like a gamble.
  10. I'd be asking if you can view it first, photos can make any car look good Learnt that lesson years ago πŸ˜‚
  11. never heard of them before and not saying there is anything wrong or shaddy with them but I'd definitely do a bit of digging first
  12. I've been trying to find a decent used car for my partner's birthday next month and came across what looks like a brilliant deal on a 2020 Audi Q3 s line. The advert was on eBay and I assumed I was messaging a private seller, but the reply actually came from Loughshore Logistics, a company based in Belfast, they explained that they specialise in repossessed vehicles purchased from finance and bank auctions across the UK, which is apparently why the prices are lower than dealer prices. Has anyone actually bought through/from Loughshore Logistics before?
  13. Earlier
  14. You can purchase top-up kits, or at least you could in the past; nevertheless, I was unsuccessful in using them. You can find a lot of mobile air conditioning technicians who can visit your home to inspect the system and add more fluids if needed.
  15. After doing that, I can confirm that the engine rpm change and that the compressor clutch is functioning properly; however, in the six years that I've owned the vehicle, I've never had the refrigerant tested, so I share your concern that it may be low.
  16. So long as the temperature you put on the dial is consistent with what comes out of the vents, everything should be OK. Absolute red indicates extremely high temperature, while absolute blue indicates extremely low temperature. In your opinion, is your air conditioner busted? Turning the engine on and off while the engine is running should cause the note to alter (and maybe even a click or clang) as the clutch engages and disengages the pump. When air conditioning stops functioning, it could be due to a lack of refrigerant rather than a costly breakdown.
  17. Greetings! This is a handbook.
  18. Is the climate control or air conditioning operated manually?
  19. Hello everyone! When the air conditioner is turned on, what temperature should be expelled from the vents?
  20. Just acquire a regular gas-powered vehicle; it's a derv.
  21. You can unclog the DPF, but there's a chance you'll run into trouble occasionally.
  22. That's great, but how do I cancel the smoke?
  23. When it's time for the MOT, a competent tester will fail if you let the smoke to escape.
  24. Hello, I am the proud owner of a 2018 430D GC. I am interested in improving the car's sound and maybe even letting out a little smoke without worrying about any potential issues or dashboard alerts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I was wondering how much your solution might cost, as it already has the 440 exhaust system, one on each side.
  25. The vehicle isn't here, and my son insisted on getting the guy new speakers because the old ones were so distorted; now I don't understand. This is a surprise birthday present for the man who expertly restored the leather steering wheel of the S124. I'll keep trying, but the main thing is, what size? Information will be provided as it occurs. They are reportedly at the front doors, according to a new update. Once more, what size are the replacements?
  26. I had a little trouble removing the front door liner, but I imagine it will be much simpler the next time around! It's quite large and cumbersome πŸ™‚ We received our W639 with the rear speakers included in the Dualiner "comfort pack," which also included the rear trim panels. To keep the dogs from being overly startled, we've always kept the fader on front only. πŸ˜„
  27. Seems like you're confused about something. In every entrance, you'll find a main speaker. On top of each of them is a tweeter. Take care not to rip the cabling to the tweeter when you remove the door card; the main speaker remains in the door, and the tweeter takes the card with it. The primary speaker can be simply unplugged, however getting to the bottom is a bit of a pain. The panels in the back cargo space are identical, depending on the 639 model. They stand out. The speaker grills are a great way to distinguish between them.
