  1. Past hour
  2. I will watch Top Gear reruns with Clarkson, May, and Hammond every time they appear on the TV schedule. Forget about it if it's anybody else; I've already forgotten their identity.
  3. Today
  4. Their successors aren't as good as Clarkson, May & Hammond, in my opinion!
  5. It certainly can't live up to the standards set by the iterations that followed "Clarkson, May, Hammond."

  7. There isn't much on TV for car people these days, so it's great to see Top Gear back on the air. I haven't watched in a while because I was never a fan of the hosts, but I used to respect and enjoy Tiff Needell's commentary. Given Chris Evans's undying love for automobiles, I've always felt it was a pity that he couldn't drive while simultaneously speaking and filming without becoming sick to his stomach. During Children In Need, I used to think he was great because he would auction off his "magnificent 7" Ferraris for a chance to win a drive, which was really generous of him and raised a tonne of money for the cause.
  8. Three different individuals might come to mind.
  9. Do not engage with Mr. Shouty-man at any costs.

  11. Another one of these! I am sending in my application, so I hope you pick nice hosts!
  12. Yesterday
  13. The diagnosis includes a process for executing it right, so they can house and inflate them appropriately.
  14. You may reshape the bag to remove its contents and remove it from the car by using a modified USB cord and battery pack to activate the bag solenoid, as you learned in class. Afterwards, re-fit it and apply force and pressure at the optimal rate, which is something you'll have to feel out. On the other hand, I once returned a brand new Mercedes bag because it wouldn't inflate properly.
  15. I also attempted something similar, but it was unsuccessful. Finally, I took them off once more. I was able to get them to fold and collapse with the help of some red rubber oil. In its current form, the rubber is unable to travel through it. I inflated the tyre using the rear manual control while lowering and removing the jacks from the trailing arms after recharging the battery and starting the ignition cycle.
  16. I used my air compressor to partly fill the new air springs on my S212 to let them settle in before I attached the hoses, but I can't say for sure how different they are. Checked out
  17. I've deployed the Viano's rear air bags. When I reinsert them, this time devoid of air, they seem crooked, and I can't get the trailing arms to stand up straight. When I was younger, I don't even recall if they came with a strap to keep them in place during installation. Anyone who has reinstalled these and can tell me what to do next?
  18. Last week
  19. My R171 SLK came with factory fit 17s from the factory and that's more than enough for us. Blobcat's 2009 280, which is his daily driver and has logged 100,000 miles, is still on 16s, so I wouldn't recommend going to 18s if you're fond of your teeth and fillings. I don't think 18s are the right size since they will make the ride excessively stiff and unpleasant, make it harder to find affordable tires, and increase the likelihood of wheel and rim damage on our lovely bumpy roads.
  20. I get it! As a whole, I agree with you that these alloys look fantastic on the SLK55; nevertheless, I'm still considering whether or not a 17-inch compromise would be more satisfactory.
  21. Having much larger wheels will ruin the ride over the terrible British roads and increase the possibility of cracking or even curbing one, but do you think it's worth it? I don't mean to seem old; I'm only 19 years old.
  22. Now I'm having doubts! Each of the square-shaped alloys has a 9x18 dimension and an ET of 42. Shows: Will they be a good fit? A only three centimetres separate us from suspension! seems like a lot. Alert from Google AI: If you own a Mercedes-Benz SLK from the R170 or R171 generation, you may run a 9x18-inch square layout; however, you'll need to pay close attention to the offsets to prevent rubbing, particularly on the front axle.
  23. Oh, I see. I happened upon a set (I hope!) on the Bay the other day. How fortunate!
  24. You "should" furthermore have the deflector panels on the bumper behind the wheels for the broader rears. That being said, I think they should fit.
  25. Seems like these fancy "turbine" chaps may work...All R171 alloys are interchangeable, right?
  26. The car's present wheels are these cosy 16-inch alloys.
  27. Since your pin numbering does not correspond to the numbering that ought to be printed on the connection, I am perplexed. Probably overlooked something important when reviewing your data, but it doesn't really matter. It appears that sometimes wires sometimes cause inaccurate readings; for example, circuit 30 appeared to be functioning OK, but one of the 30L variables was reading 0 instead of 12. I am unsure if it is due to the SAM's load protection or anything else. Neither the indicator nor any of the other lights have their own specific cable. Nothing more than CAN, C30, and C30L ground wires.
