I used to work on the finance/admin side of a similar fictional transport business before moving to Manchester. The basic idea behind a segregated business account is that vehicle related funds are kept separate from ordinary operating money. But don't assume the word "segregated" automatically means you're protected That's the bit I'd want clarified before sending anything.

I've decided to take the chance on a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Premium they've got, the price is good without being completely ridiculous. Just waiting for the invoice now, the payment will go into a segregated business account. I'll keep this updated because I hate finding threads like this on Google where the OP vanishes halfway through 😂

My mum bought a 2021 Renault Captur through Mcerlane Logistics earlier this year. She's in Aberdeen so Belfast wasn't exactly around the corner and the delivery was 9 days from memory. Car came with the paperwork she'd been expecting and she had her local garage check it afterwards. She's still got it and loves the thing!

I actually rang them this morning and asked exactly that. Interesting bit is they explained that their 14 day inspection/money back period is for vehicles bought through the delivery programme. If I travel over, inspect it myself and collect it, that particular return arrangement doesn't apply. So now I'm debating whether to get a flight over and see it myself or just have it delivered. Anyone here actually gone down the delivery route?

Never bought from them myself but had a nose around online after seeing one of their adverts a while ago whatever company you're dealing with, don't let a cheap price make you switch your brain off. Google is your friend these days, I'd do that whether the car was £5k or £50k

Hi all, Been searching Fb Marketplace for a new car and stumbled across a few listings connected to a company called Mcerlane Logistics. Apparently they're repossessed vehicles they've bought through finance auctions some of the prices are quite a bit below what I've been seeing on AutoTrader which obviously got my attention Anyone on here actually purchased a car through them? Not really interested in guesses, would be good to hear from somebody who's dealt with them first-hand. Cheers

You were absolutely correct; I ran it for another fucking forty miles, reduced the charge state to zero, and the warning light went out. Unfortunately, I will be purchasing my last Sportage after four consecutive years due to the excruciating pain that is the GPF issue.

I have also discovered that the warning light only turns off when the gpf charge state is at 0? while using an obd reader for clearing the gpf.

An employee from the service department called me; he informed me that my vehicle does not need any software updates and that I should disregard the nonsense posted on online forums. From our "rubbish" forum, I have just sent this via email. For certain Kia models, such as the NQ5e (Kia Sportage) and NQ5e MHEV (Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle), there is a software update called the 230S23 (Revised) recall. This update improves the operation of the Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) warning lamp. [1] In addition, he mentioned that the filter needs to be blocked even though the Charge State 1 reading is negative.

A little twist on the widely discussed problems with the GPF. Today was the umpteenth occurrence of my warning light going off. I followed the steps in these forums by plugging in my odb reader and then driving to the closest highway. Starting out, the GPF charge state was 4. I managed to reduce it to 1, but the alert light stayed on. Whenever the charge state dropped below 2, it has previously gone off during regen runs. From what I can gather, the GPF is crystal clear at charge state 1, which is quite frustrating. I had to schedule an appointment at my Kia garage since I couldn't locate or clear the warning using the odb reader. Please do not force a restart or otherwise damage the engine; instead, I would like them to remove the warning and install the software update that should fix the GPF problems. I'll make sure to update everyone.

no, what I mean is that the 2.6v could be coming from some other source, and the signal wire could be shorted to something (in the worst case scenario, the ddm). Not knowing the sensor data, pin values, and what they should be makes it difficult to determine.

I take it that you mean to connect the signal wire to an object that does not have voltage?

First, I'd look at a wiring diagram to make sure that pins 1-2-3 are the ones you measured. Then, I'd backprobe the signal wire voltage at the ecu pin. There might be a shorted wire if the voltage is off and the ignition is off.

Hello everyone, is anyone able to assist me? Here are the codes for my 2004 E60 525d (M57): A sensor for the exhaust back-pressure (004CF3) Problems with the DPF threshold or loading (481A/480A) • 4166—Concerning DPF I've already taken care of the exhaust temperature sensor in Bank 2 and the exhaust back-pressure sensor by replacing them with the proper ones. After cleaning and inspecting, the pressure hoses and DPF ports appear to be clear. No matter how much you turn off the engine, the live data will still display a constant of around 6.00 psi. It never goes below zero, though the last digits do flicker ever-so-slightly. The sensor connector was measured with the engine off and the ignition on: • Pin 1 → 5 V steady (excellent) • When the sensor is connected, Pin 2 (signal) maintains a constant voltage of 2.6 V. • (I'm assuming that ground is Pin 3). Maintaining a constant 2.6 V signal voltage is independent of engine speed. Is anyone familiar with this? Then what should I do? Reset the adaptation/zero point, check the wiring, or is there something else I should look at? Your input is valued. I am grateful.
