Since I intend to upgrade to Stage 1 with E85 if at all possible and my present injectors are malfunctioning, I figured it wouldn't hurt to have more efficient injectors. The high-pressure pump was the downfall of this "Stage 1 + E85" upgrade that I had previously attempted. So, I was wondering if there are any other injectors that are more powerful and if there is a high-pressure pump that can be upgraded. (Sorry if there are any typos; I'm utilising a translation tool.)

Just what are you hoping to accomplish by making this upgrade?....more fuel efficiency?....smoother operation? There isn't much benefit to switching injectors unless you're planning on a huge power increase that requires a lot of additional fuel. So long as you don't intend to track or drag your vehicle after a heavy tune—in which case you'll need to keep the throttle open all the time—stock injectors will be more than enough to power the engine at full throttle under heavy load without running lean. Tuned AMG E63s with 1000 horsepower are using pump fuel with factory injectors.

Last year, I think Kia switched to Google Maps. When I compare, I see that Google and Kia both use the same routing.

Does the EV2 come with Google Maps? instead of the TomTom Kia-based system?

In comparison to the EV2 standard range models, the infotainment software version in my new EV2 GT Line S seems to be quite recent. 260506, which is May 6, 2026, is the number I have. I assume it downloads the maps and infotainment system by default since there is no explicit option to do so in the setup screen but to enable System OTA. Driving past a school at 30 mph now only registers as 20 mph, which was my biggest complaint.

Though roadworks are visible when Google detects them (since they are the service providers), I am seeing road closures and the like quite frequently.

Assuming there are any, you will receive an alert once OTA is enabled. The process of reporting road work areas to navigation companies and then creating updates takes time, so please be patient. Therefore, we may have to wait months.

As much of a pain as anything else, you can disable the feature that automatically adjusts your speed based on the posted limits. As of right now (in May), there have been no updates, and the Kia navigation updater site is still in the dark regarding the EV2.

If there have been any updates to the EV2's infotainment system or satnav, I would like to know how frequently they update the satnav so that the car doesn't reduce speed when using cruise control, because I've noticed that it shows old speed limits in areas where the speed limits have been removed due to roadworks. I appreciate each and every response.

This is the D165 HSE model from 2021. Until then, they didn't specify the plan; they simply assumed I could get by without a vehicle. Central JLR informed me that they will try to arrange a courtesy car if I have the vehicle towed to a Land Rover garage. I was able to get in touch with them today. What started out as a beautiful car has become a living nightmare due to the numerous problems that have plagued its production.

Does it matter which engine you have? I must have missed that question. Was a plan for following the November diagnosis made clear? After successfully diagnosing a known failing part that appears to be unfit for purpose, they should resolve it for free here. They are recalling cars in the US for this reason, so it only makes sense. Of course, JLR is the brand in question. Maintain our interest by providing regular updates.

The warning message advised me not to drive and to pull over safely after the update, which was maybe four days later. The problem has been located, and the update has confirmed that the DC-DC converter is the source of the error codes.

I apologise for the inconvenience, but I would like to understand why the car is not roadworthy if you were only made aware of the issue by the SOTA update? The dealer is currently unable to do anything to address the issue if the necessary part is on back order; thus, they have offered a November date.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that after updating to Pivi Pro OS 4.3.3, my car recently detected this DC converter error. This patch update was intended to diagnose an issue that has been associated with numerous recalls in the US but has thus far not been recalled in the UK. Land Rover Liverpool has been completely unhelpful since I contacted them. I was offered November for a diagnostic assessment because the car is not driveable. November is intolerable, and I already know the problem, so I don't need this. As a gesture of goodwill, has anyone been able to get a courtesy car and get Land Rover to fix this? I am aware that there are no parts available in the UK, so I anticipate a lengthy wait. I am not going down without a fight, and I'm happy to file a few claims on my own. However, I'm aware that I won't be alone in this, and I've heard from an insider that 154 cars have been waiting for the same part at Land Rover Liverpool in the past week, so this is going to be a major issue.

A dpf regeneration should be indicated by a dash light on the L551 diesel, which is a green variant of the red dpf full warning. Despite having the car scanner in the center of the CarPlay screen and knowing that a regeneration has just finished, I have never seen it!

It would seem to reason that, with all the advanced technology in today's vehicles, there would be an obvious indicator on the dashboard to let you know when a regen is underway, so you can avoid stopping the engine and wasting oil.

I'm not sure if my Icarsoft 2 will be able to perform the forced regeneration, so I may need to upgrade to Icarsoft 3. Thanks for the reply, though.

Attempting to burn off the DPF deposits typically results in increased fuel consumption. Icarsoft 3 is great; it wipes the slate clean and lets you trigger a regeneration whenever you choose.

Apologies for the delayed response. I was hoping someone else had experienced the same symptoms. Up until the amber warning light came on, I had no idea what was wrong with this vehicle.
