Samuraisaint
Salutations everyone, The 2020 W167 Premium+ with the Burmester sound system was just purchased. Would it be possible to use the factory burmester's optical output to avoid splicing signal cords for high-level inputs while upgrading the system with Audison Forza DSP amp(s)? Please, if you are able, assist me. Much obliged.

Lovelyas
The burmiester amp has digital signal processing (DSP) applied to all of its components, making it difficult to get a flat signal without a high-quality converter, such as a JL-FIX86.
Samuraisaint
In addition to offering comprehensive video tutorials, the Audison bit software is specifically engineered to flatten the signal from factory systems. In my other vehicle, I use a Forza DSP amplifier from them; it has focal components and all channels turned on, and the difference is enormous. Although the Burmester system produces passable sound, its low-frequency bass response is severely deficient. Instead of cutting into wires to run the supply signals, I was expecting to have fibre laid out so that the connections stage would be easier, but I suppose we can't have it both ways. π€£ Thank you for your expertise and assistance, however! Lovelyas
I believe it is possible to use dts monaco to flatten the output on MBUX using custom scripting. I can't remember which other headunits you may use this on.
