spartan
Greetings, I am in need of assistance. I just purchased an SL350 at an auction and I am now experiencing difficulties with the roof mechanism. The boot/trunk fails to open correctly while attempting to open the roof. The pump seems to be under excessive strain. Upon activating the switch, the boot gradually opens by 3 inches, and upon releasing the switch, it abruptly extends by an additional inch. After repeating this action three times, the object gradually expands to a width of around 10 inches. During each trial, the pump begins with a low volume and progressively amplifies, producing a shrill and piercing sound.Thank you for any guidance or suggestions.
