Samuraisaint
Disenchanted with the wooden inside and want to cover it in black. Which of the three would you recommend, or is there another option you have tried?
Angurita
I really detest the wood in automobiles, since it never resembles genuine wood. It seems to be nothing more than unpleasant glossy plastic to me. My vehicle has the sport trim in silver; nevertheless, like to many others, the metal began to corrode, prompting me to apply a wrap. I choose brushed aluminium since it better complemented the cluster. I purchased this item; it is rather simple to manipulate and highly pliable even without a hairdryer. However, its considerable thickness due to the brushed texture made it somewhat cumbersome in the confined spaces around the buttons.

Angurita
I admit to not addressing all the rust surrounding the gear selector, since I was uncertain about my preference and hence refrained from sanding down the original surface. Having used it for many months, I suppose I am satisfied with it, therefore I should address that matter on a bleak winter evening.
AmericaMonster
Brushed aluminium is aesthetically pleasing and conceals dust well. Piano black is inferior to any kind of wood.
Istairde
The Blobsta seems amazing; excellent work, young guy. It looks much improved.
rauman
If you want a high-quality wrap, then 3M 2080 is the optimal choice. It has excellent properties for heating, stretching, and healing (in case of failure) and is appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use.
rauman
My father-in-law just acquired a Superb Sportline+, which features an attractive gloss carbon trim; thus, I chose that option for my S204.
Mezuzzi
To me, a premium automobile necessitates wood; when I purchased my Jaguar XJ at 19, I cherished the walnut accents. The aluminium design evokes memories of my mother's Audi, which I find unremarkable. I have a strong preference for genuine carbon fibre, rather than a mere covering. Samuraisaint
Thank you for the suggestions; silver is not my preferred shade, therefore I am uncertain whether to choose black or carbon. Based on my understanding, removing the wrap will not damage the original trim, correct?
HeadlinesQuick
I used a black brushed aluminium type wrap for my project, believing it superior to the largest plain black option.
Lemmand
I like the wood trim over the silver aluminium in the freshly bought E250 S212. I am considering experimenting with a wood-like vinyl cover. I am uncertain if it will harmonise well with the light grey interior upholstery and door panels. Would the piano black vinyl maybe be more effective than the wood vinyl?
