Barringer
My vehicle was in the dealership for many days, and I received a Mini Cooper S as a loaner. The loan vehicle's Speed Assist displayed the present speed restriction, the forthcoming speed limit, and the distance to the commencement of that limit. I am unable to locate that setting or a comparable option on my M240; do you have any suggestions?
SlayNeo
Your vehicle likely lacks the traffic sign detection/assist feature, which was present in my 640d throughout my ownership.
SlayNeo
I have verified that the option code is S8TH, pertaining to traffic sign detection.
engrol
I see the forthcoming speed restriction via the windscreen, specifically upon reaching the sign. I apologise, but the modern devices beyond my understanding, and some seem to be based on common sense, in my opinion.
Micobe
It is probable that the original owner did not choose that option.
Barringer
It is equipped with KAFAS, enabling it to interpret traffic signs effectively. The absence of Adaptive Cruise Control may be the problem.
