The Sat Nav system is unable to identify media files.

Greetings, everyone. The vehicle in question is a Sportage GT-line S 1.6 Mild Hybrid with a 24 plate. The Kia Sat Nav updater App indicates the availability of a software update for my vehicle. My update is that I have a MyWay 24 system and a 64GB flash drive. I have attempted various methods to transfer downloads onto the portable drive, including connecting it directly to my computer. However, when I insert the flash drive into the USB port in my car, I consistently encounter the error message "Media files not available." Despite reformatting the drive to exFAT, which is capable of storing a larger amount of data, none of my attempts have been successful. I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions you may have.
Thank you very much.

I have had same issue with previous upgrades. I just left the flash drive in the vehicle, and after 10-15 minutes, it began loading. Can you confirm that your device is the MY24 model and is now running software version 231102 (02 Nov 2023)? The only basis for my inquiry is the absence of an update for MY25.

Thank you for your answer. Could you please clarify whether you check the software version in the vehicle or via the PC updater?
I inserted the model of my vehicle into the updater, and the My24 indicator illuminated, indicating that it is likely right. Is there a designated area where I may input the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?

I own an identical automobile and am experiencing the same issue as you. Indeed, there is an update available for my24. However, while inspecting the VIN number, I saw that the tenth letter is "t," indicating that it belongs to the my25 model. Therefore, I am unable to proceed with the update until my25 comes on the list. It is uncertain if my assumption is correct, and we will need to wait for many months to find out.

To access the version screen on the automobile, press and hold the 'Setup' button. Examine the Software Version (you may need to scroll down). Within the software version, there is a six-digit number that represents the reverse of the software version update date. The software version on my vehicle is NQ5e_H.EUR.55W_L.001.001.240726, with the last six digits representing the date 26/07/24. If your automobile has a MY25 standard (not based on the construction year), it can have an earlier date in 2024 and it lacks an upgrade.

Correction: When using the Kia Updater App, it is important to always provide either the Software Version number of the vehicle or the Model number of the media system.
