Shiyardit
Upon arriving at work this morning, I saw that the radiator fan was operating. Commencing the journey back to my residence. The blower was set at the lowest setting. Subsequently, I get a warning indicating that the engine coolant temperature has above the acceptable limit. Examined the temperature gauge and saw that it was approaching the maximum level. While driving on a motorway, I was unable to immediately find a safe place to stop my vehicle. I activated the blower to its maximum heating setting, causing the water temperature indicator to immediately decrease. The car seemed to be in good condition, but, the radiator fan was running when I arrived home. I am preparing to check for any engine codes to see whether the issue is related to the thermostat. Assistance would be much appreciated. πππ»
Shiyardit
The vehicle in question is a 2011 model with a 3.0-liter V6 engine that is equipped with a supercharger. Examined codes using VCDS and no issues were detected.

Shiyardit
The screenshot is taken when the computer is in an idle state and stored on the hard disc. Was unable to get it to overheat. The radiator fan was active but ceased operation soon after the automobile was turned off.
Kenjibb
My first course of action would be to investigate if there is no acknowledgement of the coolant being replaced. Replace it, since the current coolant is likely the first one and has deteriorated in its effectiveness, depending on the duration of your automobile ownership. Your lack of knowledge of the contents is a contributing factor.
Barringer
Friend I would also modify the thermostat. It seems that VAG manufactures them using chocolate. Wishing you success!
Jollyno
Both the stat and pump have undergone several revisions and are prone to regular failures. I believe I have seen the statistic become immobile in the closed position. If you need to disconnect the charger, it would be advisable to do the stat, pump, and PCV procedures, provided that none of these have been carried out lately. Additionally, there is a plastic pipe that originates from the rear of the thermostat housing and extends towards the rear of the engine in a V shape. This pipe often fractures at the connection near the housing due to its brittleness over time. The newer version of the CREC engine has a metallic conduit, and it is uncertain if it can be installed as an upgrade on older models. Utilise the search function on our website to locate certain parts. It is an excellent tool for finding the desired components. The website can be found at https://www.lllparts.co.uk/ You may find the thermostat for your 2014.5 CREC engine S5 at the following link: https://www.lllparts.co.uk/product/06E121111AS/audi-coolant-regulator-06e121111as. It is possible that the thermostat for your engine is the same as the one listed. The water pump is identified by the part number 06E 121 018H. The specified item is a coolant pipe with the part number 06E 121 065N. I own a recently acquired RKX PCV repair kit that includes a robust Viton diaphragm designed to replace the existing one in the PCV housing, eliminating the need to purchase an entirely new housing. I had a PCV problem, but I resolved it by replacing the PCV solenoid pipe. This successfully resolved the PCV issue, therefore I did not need to use the RKX PCV valve.
