  1. I have removed the lowest bolt closest to the ground. The defective transmission line and the oil sump pipe are causing significant difficulties. Could you provide guidance on the most effective method to remove the top bolt on the SM? The heat shielding material for the DPF/CAT is obstructive.
  2. DPF has been deleted; thus, I must access it from beneath. Thank you.
  3. No elevator I regret not having done so. It would significantly simplify the process. I have removed all components. I can now see the starting motor from the engine compartment. I am uncertain about the placement of the holding bolts for the SM. Could someone kindly provide a photograph of the precise location? It would be very appreciated. Does the order of wire removal from the SM important, or is it inconsequential, similarly to the installation process? I disconnect the negative connection of the primary battery while working on the automobile. I believe it need two bolts for the SM. What is the size and kind of the socket? Thank you
  4. Accessing that section seems challenging without disassembling the components you specified. I may need to address this issue alone. Could someone recommend a comprehensive resource on this topic? Haynes handbook or an alternative guide. Thank you
  5. The starter motor has seized on my E250 CDI. The task seems to be challenging. Requiring access from both the upper and lower sections of the engine. Access to a lift would undoubtedly be beneficial, something I now lack. It would need an axle stand if I were to do it alone. According to the opinions of the MB forum members, what price should I anticipate for the replacement of the starting motor? Have any owners replaced the starting motor on the 651 engine? Thank you
