  1. The reason for this is because Bluetooth is included into the MMI3G primary unit located in the centre instrument panel. The MMI3G High system has four modules that are interconnected by the MOST optical ring. These modules include the main unit (-J794-), the CAN Gateway (-J533-), the radio module (-R-), and the external amplifier (-J525-). If either the radio or the external amplifier malfunctions, the complete MMI3G system will cease to function, as you have described. The standard troubleshooting technique involves disconnecting certain modules (such as the radio, amp, and CAN Gateway) from the optical loop by using a "female" MOST bypass connection. Finally, the main unit is isolated from the loop using a "male" MOST bypass connector. The AMI port in the glovebox is directly linked to the main unit via the wire harness, hence there is no separate module located there.
  2. The event has not occurred yet, and it is unlikely to occur in the future. I am only inquiring about the presence of the capability. Thank you for the comment.
  3. I disagree with the topic being discussed. Both approaches need starting the vehicle. I am referring to a situation when your spouse has departed with the automobile keys, and you need the vehicle to be relocated from the driveway. Undeniably, not all automobiles include this feature. While my Silverado does not have the feature, the Camry does has it.
  4. Are you familiar with the presence of a button in some automobiles that enables shifting from park mode even when the car is not running? Does this possess that?
  5. I contacted my dealer, but they informed me that the earliest available booking is on the 12th of May. They also said that as there are no defects shown on the dashboard, it should be safe to drive until then. Hopefully, this turns out to be the case.
  6. Latest information I just had a conversation with a nearby automotive repair shop, and they informed me that they have been receiving a significant number of automobiles with contaminated gasoline during the last week or two.
  7. Thank you for your input, mate. I make an effort to refrain from using supermarkets for purchasing gasoline and I hire a professional cleaning around every 6 months. The fuel tank was last refilled around one week ago. My nephew, who has experience working as a technician for Hyundai, has seen a video and suspects that one of the injectors may have malfunctioned. I am going to contact Kia to have them inspect the vehicle as it is still covered by the warranty.
  8. I own a 2017 Kia Sportage with a 1.7 diesel engine, which has accumulated 80,000 kilometres. The fuel filter was replaced 6 weeks ago at 75,000 miles. Despite no issues during normal use on Friday, the engine started idling roughly and almost cutting out when I started it in the evening to go to the shop. When I slightly revved the engine, it did not respond immediately but eventually started running normally. This rough idling now occurs every time I start the engine, regardless of whether it is at running temperature or cold. If I don't rev the engine before setting off, it lacks power when accelerating, but then surges and drives normally. The AA conducted a thorough inspection and test drive but were unable to identify any defects, even when the vehicle was turned off and restarted. Another observation I have made is that the stop-start feature no longer activates, although its functionality has always been inconsistent. Has anybody else had similar issues? Thank you in advance.
  9. Yesterday, I was unable to recall the concept of B+ cable. I had a complete power outage, namely after parking and securing my vehicle and returning to a non-functional vehicle. After a period of time, it resurfaced. While several suggested removing the battery, I lacked a keyhole, which left me unable to proceed. One observation I made was that the period it did not need resetting was only delayed by around 15 minutes. If you failed to remove the battery, observe the time.
  10. The recall for the large cable located at the rear of the fuse board, situated behind the glove box, has been initiated. It has a designation, although I am now unable to recall it. 07 is equipped with a keyhole that allows you to unlock the boot, allowing you to temporarily detach the battery.
  11. Without original equipment manufacturer (OEM) support, there is no concern or attention given. Enjoy them! They are quite valuable.
  12. My Yaris Cross often maintains the battery condition at 50%, as recommended . The heart rate increases only when I reach speeds of 60+ mph and returns to normal when I resume speeds between 30 and 50 mph on my usual routes.
  13. Identical to the text provided above. I recommend using Gliptone or Colorlock for leather care. Please note that I am unsure about the availability of Colorlock in the United States.
