  1. If the vehicle is under 30 days old, I would seek a settlement with the dealer promptly or consider returning the vehicle or seeing a separate expert with extensive competence in the M157 or M276 engines. It is essential to inspect the spark plugs for oil and the camshaft position sensors, since oil might leak and damage the ECU.
  2. These are the parameters I use to monitor my DPF, which may be of assistance.
  3. I believe I had the same problem with my current sat nav micro SD card. The camera seems to function well; however, it ceased overwriting previous video and hence stopped recording—several weeks prior to an incident when my parked vehicle was struck and the driver fled the scene. The SD card had been there for many years; nevertheless, the camera containing the card did not provide any notifications indicating it was not recording, or none that I saw. The dashcam displayed "no files" on the internal screen during playback, although it functions well when accessed via an SD card reader on my PC. I have purchased a new SD card specifically for my dashcam and will determine in a few days whether my current dashcam is functioning properly. Indeed, the ACE 3.0 is quite costly; but, should my current camera fail, it is likely that I will go for the ACE 3.0 as my next purchase. An adequate camera justifies the additional expense over time. Hopeful anticipation...
  4. The rearview mirror facia on my F11 seems to have a little bigger footprint than that of your E90 due to the integrated sensor; nevertheless, it is certainly not as substantial as the camera housing seen in your image. Thank you for the notification.
  5. Thank you both. It is remarkable how inexpensive that dashcam on Aliexpress is! I believe I may get one of them for my wife's vehicle, since she only does infrequent excursions to the stores. Upon further investigation, it seems that BMW does not have an integrated version compatible with the mirror housing of earlier models like mine, and I am reluctant to remove trim in an attempt to install an aftermarket version. The Ace 3.0 seems to be the optimal choice. I will contact my local dealers for a quotation. Salutations.

  7. Greetings everyone, Has anybody have experience with an aftermarket integrated dashcam incorporated into the rearview mirror housing? I have been using a Nextbase dashcam, but it has failed me twice when required, prompting me to seek an alternative, which I have discovered. Has anybody tested one of these, and are they effective?
  8. It seems peculiar that the DC flap must be removed for air conditioning charging.
  9. Honestly, wires are really difficult to extract. It is necessary to align it precisely for easy removal. Considering mine will be four in March, it may still be difficult to extricate myself. I would not leave the cable unlocked whilst charging. It permits anybody to extract it, should they want to do so. Will not do any harm, but will result in no charge. My procedure occurs at home. Unlock the vehicle, open the flap, insert the cable, and secure the vehicle. Upon completion, unlock the vehicle while standing, then disengage the cable by pulling it directly outward.
  10. Given the mileage over 300,000, it seems the cooling system has been significantly neglected, and it is probable that the whole system is rife with rust, similar to the valve that was replaced. It is probable that some of the minor passageways inside the radiator are already obstructed. It is prudent to consider your course of action when it encounters an issue beyond your ability to resolve, since that moment may arrive imminently.
  11. It may be attributable to several factors. Given that mileage, the gearbox may be experiencing slippage. Alternatively, an issue may be emerging inside the high-voltage battery pack. A fractured motor mount. Or water has collected in the fuel pipes. Or oil collecting in the intake manifold due to the PCV system. I recommend that you have a hybrid shop examine it.
  12. Greetings The decision is yours, and there is no assurance that all bearings will possess identical colour markings. You must get the appropriate colour code for each bearing position, namely for positions 9 and 10.
  13. Greetings The image illustrates that this crankshaft has four R's, necessitating the procurement of bearing shells marked in red for each of the four bearing blocks. (This serves as an illustration, since the engine is a V6.) Letters are also inscribed on the engine block.
  14. The engine block has letters that specify the required bearing shell for installation. One side of the crankshaft has letters that specify which bearing shell should be installed in the bearing block. The precise dimensions are not specified in the paperwork, hence only the bearing shells supplied by Audi for this engine may be installed.
  15. I now own a Honda Civic equipped with a spoiler that extends halfway down the back windscreen, hence I am used to limited rear visibility. Are there any topics I should avoid discussing? The gloss components I mentioned are likely the M-performance add-on, which I can get a plastic replica of for around £300, allowing me to install it independently.
  16. Thank you for your assistance; I do the most of the maintenance myself, therefore I have no concerns with the oil changes and such tasks. Upon further consideration, I find myself more inclined towards the 4 Series, since it offers superior value while maintaining comparable performance to the 3 Series. I am curious about the hybrid; does it use the same chassis as the 3 Series, given it seems smaller than the conventional model in photographs?
  17. Understood. Is it a task that must be completed, or can it be extended with a satisfactory service history?
  18. Thank you for the information. What is the approximate pricing for this?
  19. In truth, I engage in a combination of driving; my everyday trip to work involves traversing many crossroads along the motorway. What is the performance of diesel engines with greater mileage, namely in the range of 80,000 to 100,000 miles? I believe that such mileage is not very concerning in today's context.
  20. Greetings to everybody. I am seeking to get a 3 Series. After years of contemplation, I find the white vehicles with gloss black diffusers and spoilers to be exquisite. I believe these are optional additions. I am seeking a model from about 2017 or 2018, however I am uncertain about the engine specifications. I have seen both the hybrid and the 2.0 diesel; thus, my inquiry pertains to any disadvantages associated with either option and which would be the superior decision. The aspect that dissuades me from hybrid vehicles is the performance of the batteries and their longevity over time.
  21. Yes they will and the windscreen business will be allowed to do this. Installing these sorts of screens necessitates that the vehicles be transported to the depot rather than changed on-site.
  22. Where may I locate you? I urgently want your assistance. Thank you in advance!
  23. Greetings. I am now in New Zealand, and it has completed 80,000 km. Maintained every 10,000 km, operates on 98 octane fuel. Serviced 5,000 km ago, with spark plugs replaced concurrently. While warming up is beneficial, I maintain that it should not be performed in that manner. No codes available either.
